Wish we could have stayed for longer! The trip along the beach every day into town was different. Food at restaurant was really good too. It felt almost secluded but also accessible from the town. Nice breach to walk along at your doorstep.

Amazing views

This place in hidden in greenery and you need to know it exists to find it. A truly amazing place worth all the steps we had to climb to get to it. A self sustained place, part of a Glumping development, with full respect to the environment, spectacular views and delicious food. A relaxing atmosphere (sunset yoga is also part of what they offer), a warmly decorated restaurant with attention to detail.
It is shame we only discovered it the last evening, otherwise I would be going there every night. Reservation is a must. We were ’lucky’ we were there during the COVID-19 outbreak, so we could get in without a reservation and the place has only half full. 
Well done to the owners!

Best meal I had in El Nido

This hotel was fine but lacked character and was more like a business hotel. The location is out of town but along a track which is a bit sketchy at night. The hotel offers a shuttle which is great, but it’s not ideal. The staff were mostly helpful. The pool is great but there isn’t much seating by the pool which isn’t great because it means you can’t really make the most of it. The food in the restaurant was fine but it would have been nice if they had more Philippine options. The restaurant also seemed quite overpriced in comparison to the other places in El Nido. The room was large but the curtain didn’t close properly. Overall it was fine but I probably wouldn’t return because I would prefer somewhere with more character and down a less dodgy track from town. 

Business hotwl

The cottages/suite has beautiful design. Only two things that was defective in our room, water in the bathroom sink drips out and to the floor, i also found a big chunk of hair in the shower wall. Overall is very good especially the food at the restaurant and the best mango daiquiri ive ever had. We like hanging out by the pool side having delicious food and good cocktails while the ocean view was fantastic!

Decent 3-star resort

Location - Not accessible. You need to be picked up by their tricycle service at the end of the alley or roadside because the van cannot pass. While the experience while riding their tricycle is a bit difficult. It's beach front but the beach is not swimmable.

Room & Facilities  - Overpriced. The bathroom is too small. The shower door is complete disaster. It won't trap the water inside, hence, it will cause the whole bathroom to be flooded. Bathroom towels, pillow case and bed covers don't look fresh and neat.  Bathroom & room amenities are average and don't complement the  price.  We stayed in the 2nd floor, so low water pressure.

Restaurant - Breakfast buffet menu is average. 

Staff & Service - The staff are very accommodating. All our requests were attended.

Overpriced

The facility is about 10 minutes' walk from El Nido Town. So a little away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is very nice. The staff is super friendly and fulfills every wish. The pool is a little small, but it's cool enough. Unfortunately, the beach at the hotel is not suitable for swimming. However, from the pool or breakfast, it has a very nice view of the sea. The rooms were very simple but clean. We stayed there for four nights and would check in at this hotel any time. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Nice hotel.

No pick-up at the port despite reminders (even one day before our arrival), and there was no apology by staff at the reception. Also, we are still settling an issue of double-charging in payment by the hotel, awaiting clarification by the hotel. Having said that, the hotel has a potential, located in right in front of a beautiful beach with stunning view while it is a walking distance to the downtown.

Disaster in services (especially payment) despite a gorgeous sea view & good location

First, the Bad: I almost don't know where to begin... El Nido is not exactly a nice place (though it is a lot of fun) and The Nest is probably the best hotel there. My wife and I rented the very best room they offer (Number 1) - a private villa at the end of the property with nothing between it and the beach - and it still left a lot to be desired... A lot.

First, we entered to a room (front lounge) that had clearly not been cleaned after the previous inhabitants left. There was dust and sand and a white debris* all over the floor - and the glass table top still had rings and water stains from the previous guests' drinks. It was not even wiped down. *The white debris on the floor, we quickly determined, was coming from the ceiling where insects inhabiting the rafters were creating it/knocking it down. As we stood there inspecting it, our feet and legs became overrun by hundreds of tiny ants... The good news is that they were not the biting kind. Which made sharing the bathroom sink with a few hundred of them less worrisome that it might have been - but yes, we did share our sink, bathroom, foyer, and "hot tub" (more on that in a moment) with a significant colony or two of ants.

The Hot Tub: To begin with, it is not hot. Nor is it able to be heated. Which, honestly, was not bad - given that it was pretty hot and humid outside, soaking in a Cool Tub was rather refreshing. The tub's water cleanliness was a little uncertain though - as we discovered only at night when the underwater lights came on and the water was cloudy, with a bunch of particulate in it. Sigh.. We got out and showered. Amusingly, the tub's jets don't work. We were told to call the front desk to get them turned on - which ended up requiring multiple people to make happen (including the security guard - who sat there watching us sit in the tub for 10 minutes while talking to someone on a radio trying to get it to work). When it finally turned on - the jets did not operate at all, but from the center of the tub floor, a vertical column of air and water literally erupted, splashing water everywhere, into our faces, outside of the tub, onto our towels... the noise was deafening and we called the front desk again to have them turn it off. That took over two hours to accomplish.

That night we went to bed (which was a lovely, clean and very comfortable set up) and fell asleep - only to be awakened around 1am by a group of obnoxiously drunk, boisterous, rowdy and ridiculously loud guests who yelled and laughed and swore and argued until 4:45 in the morning. The hotel staff did nothing to intervene. They just let these morons ruin the sleep of every guest - plus certainly those at neighboring places.

Other things of note: the hotel's phone system appears to be something of a party line. Twice our phone rang and when we answered it, we heard one room speaking with the front desk and two or three other rooms also on the call, as confused as we were because ALL our phones range together and we all answered.

Before I get to the Good, one more item of note: The evening before we checked out, we told the front desk we needed a ride to the airport at 7am. They confirmed our flight time and assured us a car (trike - then car) would be ready. When we got to the front desk the next morning, there was still no ride by 7:10. When a trike finally pulled up, another couple was escorted to it and we were told ours was coming soon. We explained that we were now late and the front desk person made a phone call and promised us that someone would be here soon. Here is where it gets weird... a driver emerged from the back, jumped on a trike and took off. The other couple offered to share their trike with us - and when we were dropped off at the car, the same driver we saw leave the hotel ahead of us - without us - had just pulled in to where the car was parked... WHY ON EARTH did he not just take us to the car? It was utterly bizarre. And egregiously ill-managed.

So, that's the Bad. For the Good: The food at the restaurant is pretty tasty and of an impressive variety. The views from the villa are lovely. The bedroom was clean. And as I said in at the top of the review, it's probably it the nicest place in El Nido Town. But that is not saying much. Finally, the price was exorbitant. Not that anything is particularly expensive here - but it was far-and-away the most expensive room there (in El Nido) and it was waaaaaay overpriced.

Disappointing. Unclean, Insect-ridden with Drunken Noisy Guests All Night Long.

The hotel has a superb view of El Nido Bay, it is medium-sized and is located in an old neighborhood of El Nido (next to the cemetery) forced to pass by the beach to access it, free shuttles to drive you to the city, proper breakfast with good service, however for the rest it is really not terrible. Standard room to avoid, really awake and without any charms! Luxury villa... it is better, nice decoration but attention soundproofing non-existent...... (you all hear what your neighbors say) wake up to the fields of chickens (four o'clock in the morning) and dogs who can't bark so during the night... smell of it in the bathroom).... and shower in the queue..... this was damaged by the fact that the other two rooms of the hotel were worth more than 180 euros (unfortunately the bathroom was worth more than 4 nights)

All right, but that's it.

Little snlage a little outside the center of El Nido which is certainly no disadvantage, also the hotel is only accessible by a tricycle, this service is offered from the hotel until 22:00, walking but also and from the airport we were also picked up, just to call at the hotel in the evening you have better a local SIM card. The hotel itself is located right on the bay, a small sandy beach is also provided but it is not suitable for swimming (as is actually everywhere in El Nido), the view from the restaurant, pool or the small beach is however breathtaking. The food is also very recommended, always fresh and not overpriced we have had breakfast there every day but also to eat at night. The rooms and the facility were also very well maintained.
