My first time to visit Roxas City is spectacular. The hotel veronica is a comfy place to stay. Its staff are kind. The place is accessible to city mall, banks, even drug store. The breakfast food is plated but they offer Filipino, American, and Continental choices on their menu. Delicious as it is. I also love their coffee, freshly brewed. They also offered free airport transfer as well as transporting us to the nearest bus stations when we decided to visit gigantes island. 

I hope when you visit Roxas City you could visit this hotel to experience its hospitality towards its guests.

I will recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives when they will visit Roxas.

Hotel Veronica Experience

They are in need of fumigation.  Checked in Dec 23 and 25. Two different rooms are infested with tiny roaches! I'm sure the staff have seen them, because one would not miss them, you just need to open bathroom lights. 

Roaches everywhere!

The Hotel staff , Restaurant waiters and Security are all friendly and accommodating.

The Festa Restaurant has a singing waiter that made our dinner and night enjoyable. 

The hotel is a short walk to the Robinson Mall , where my wife enjoy the shopping while I enjoy reading and replying to emails.

A PREMIER HOTEL TO VISIT IN ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ

I stayed here in May 2019. I booked 2 Premiere Deluxe. I was satisfied with the beds. Alot better than previous stay (2018) The mall next door (Robinsons Mall Roxas) is a big plus. ATMs (BDO and BPI Next door) If you want massage, Try Modish just next door. Only con is the Eleverator. It’s too hot. It feels like a Sauna Room. Otherwise a pleasant stay. The rooftop pool is an extra big plus if you’re staying with kids. :-) we enjoyed it. 

Big improvement

We booked their Premier deluxe and the room is spacious. Breakfast is plated and tasty. my kids love the interior of the hotel. The staffs are kind especially the concierge that help us with our baggage. he always had a great smile and made sure to have a short convo whenever he sees us. Another plus is the pool coz it closes until 10pm, some hotel pools are until 9am onlyand my kids enjoyed their night swimming after we we did shopping at the Robinson which is just on the opposite side of the hotel.

Pleasurable

We started off with a bad start because we were initially given a downgraded room. I booked the Premier deluxe with 2 double beds thru Agoda, but then when we came to the room, it was so small and has 1 queen bed only. He room was so small, there was barely space for walking. How can a family of 4 fit in a room with 1 queen bed, right? I immediately called front desk to ask about the room, and found out that the room type that we booked was not available and instead, they gave us a deluxe room only. 

I'm happy with how they handled my problem. We were upgraded to a suite with 1 king bed and an extra mattress on our first night but we had to move on the second night. The suite was luxurious but if you look closely, it's a bit ran down. The management should focus on maintaining the quality of their rooms. There were parts of the wall with wallpaper peeled off. The shelf below the TV looked like it might fall off the wall anytime, not to mention the frequent water interruption, and wifi that barely works.
Breakfast was okay, except for the pancakes though. 
The pool on the rooftop was small but we had it all to ourselves when we went there. 
I'd like to commend the kind and friendly staffs, especially Cheska from front desk.
I hope when we come to book again, our stay will be hassle free.

Good Service Recovery

Recently booked, 3 premier rooms for 3 nights in this hotel. I already knew what to expect because i also booked here last year. However, this last booking was a huge disappointment and was very upsetting. On our 2nd day, my guest requested front desk to make-up our rooms before we left for the day’s activities. When we came back around 4 pm, all our 3 rooms were still unmade, none of our room supplies/amenities were replenished. So, my guests decided to go to the only coffee shop/ restaurant hoping perhaps that housekeeping will still clean our rooms. At the coffee shop, they were literally turned away because they said that the restaurant was booked for a private function. How in heaven’s name can they turn away their own checked-in guests from going to the only coffee shop / restaurant of the hotel? And with no advance notice so we could have at least made plans to have dinner somewhere else! I approached the front desk to complain and only then were we told that we could instead use the pool area on the 5th floor where they “ can set up a dining area” for us. So it was one infraction after another, and all they can offer me was an apology, which hardly assuaged the embarrassment it caused me towards my guests! I would have expected top management to come apologize but none came. MAJOR FAIL!

MAJOR FAIL

Well located opposite Robinsons Shopping Mall. Less congested,less noisy and less traffic pollution than downtown, all of which makes for a nicer experience.  The staff are very polite and very willing to please. Free breakfast was included, which was adequate.
If you request in advance the hotel will pick you up from the Ceres Liner terminal. The swimming pool was well kept as usual. Have stayed here many times because it fits  our requirements.
