Slupsk

The Hotel Zamkowy is located in Slupsk just behind the castle church and in the immediate vicinity of the castle itself. The building and the rooms inside were probably not too long ago renovated. We had a three-bedroom. The beds, two and one are subdivided into different rooms. The mattresses were not soft but rather hard despite older assessments. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, where one should not really expect much. Everything you need is the same every day. The ladies at the reception can give you relaxing and friendly information. Generally the hotel and also Slupsk, if you are mobile, are recommended to relax as a quiet location on the Polish coast to make Polish holidays and also to enjoy a nice visit to the National Park.

Good, affordable housing

This hotel was very cheap only 47 euro by night! Breakfast was nice nothing special but good. Room was clean and very big we have 2 bedroom and small living room. Staff was helpful and nice. The hotel is a little further away from the center but still within walking distance. The hotel setting is really nice and the next is really pretty park.

Basic 2-star hotel, but so charming, excellent location, friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, convenient, very clean, very good breakfast for the asking price.

good value for money

This hotel/residence is so  quiet giving rise to an impression that you are the only ones staying but there are other guests too. However, there appears to be a tradition to keep oneself to oneself. Single beds are pretty basic but tolerable to afford a reasonable sleep. Traffic noise can disturb if you keep window. open. Considering, it is only a 2 star place, I must say it is very well kept with shiny wooden floors, well painted walls, high ceiling. Sufficient storage space and usual mod cons. TV only offers polish language channels which can be a pain if you do not understand Polish.laundry service us very good and quick. Reception staff very friendly, nearby is a good selection of places to eat . I had a beautiful meal at hotel stromiejski (sister three star hotel). Being right in town centre, there is plenty of choice. Breakfast buffet service is quite good. If you need help, receptionist will come, other is just help yourself. Room service is from Monday to Friday only   I was pretty comfortable here. Room view away from church is beautifully manicured garden. I never used room service to eat but was told, if need be, it can be arranged via their sister hotel nearby. There are no escalators, so suggest lower floors if you have trouble climbing stairs. There are no shops inside hotel but kiosks nearby for bits and pieces. Taxi rank, bar/ice cream establishment all so near.

clean, quiet , great location within historic building

The price was quite high compared to the standards in the neighbouring places of Pomerania. There are no non-smoking rooms, i.e. the first night was marked by a cold smoke gesture. Disappointed by recommendation

The rooms are clean and almost quiet (we were the only guests on our floor and had courtyard facing rooms). The bedding was basic, the bedsheets too short for the matrasse and since the hotel has only two stars, I guess you cannot expect more. However it appears freshly refurbished, with clean furniture
Bathrooms are small, clean and as another guest says small towels are missing. 

The location next to the very good restaurant Anna de Croy and the tea house Herbaciamia "Spichlerzu Richter" at the river make it very worthwile, as Slupsk does not have many other high end restaurants.

good starting point for excursions and walks

The hotel Zamkowy is an excellent establishment, offering a first-class service. The rooms are spacious, some with several rooms (bedroom, lounge-room). Everything is new and very comfortable. It has a Wi-Fi connection, which works very well. The staff is very friendly and attentive, striving to serve in the language spoken by the client (German, English). The views are beautiful, it is located in the old heart of Slupsk, alongside the castle of the Dukes, the church of San Jacinto, the old mill and other main attractions. The weight of the nearby streets is totally silent. The hotel restaurant offers a very complete breakfast buffet, with attentive and discreet service.
