This is a very charming place to stay with houses that one rents. Two roms with 2 beds in each. The place was set up in 2015 and the rooms looks like it was yesterday. Beds could compete with any 5 star hotel and win. Easy.
The coupe running the place are very helpful and a living evidence of the word ”hospitality”.
There is a common area where breakfast is server and it is possible to relax, ping-Pong is one option.

The only negative is that you need to have a car to get there. But once there the forrests and villages around is an excellent reason to go there.

A dream accomodation to get energized  and relaxed

This accommodation involves a collection of four small houses, all separate from each other, and in a garden setting. The main positive point was the breakfast which was fresh and healthy and included a large choice of food. However the 'house' was far smaller than it looked on the photos, even if you do get used to it. The water pressure in the shower was too low with only a feeble amount of water coming out. There was some noise from passing traffic in the street: Casa de Resineiros is the one directly above the office that also has windows overlooking the street. The room also wasn't cleaned at all during my 4 day stay there. I didn't use the swimming pool as a swimming cap is obligatory and I hadn't brought one. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained with a variety of plants and flowers. The personnel were friendly and helpful, giving tips on places to visit locally.

We stayed from 16 to 19 May 2019 and the group was very pleased with the facilities, the location and the great attention of the owner, a place to enjoy, rest and unwind.

Quality price very good.

We rented 2 houses (including one suitable for people with reduced mobility) and they were very clean, very comfortable litters, a fully equipped kitchen and two beautiful bathrooms per house. The perfect breakfast was served by a charming lady who also spoke French.

It's charming.

We stayed for 4 days and the apartment for two adults and two children was very nice. The hotel in general was impeccably clean, to be in the middle of the countryside.On arrival it was cold because the heaters hadn't been turned on and it took a day and a half to warm up.The abundant and proper breakfast in a living room with a fireplace made it very pleasant.We chose this accommodation with its air-conditioned pool, as if it was raining, we needed to make an alternative plan with the children and until the third day the water didn't get hot.And that day we don't know if it made the chlorine mix bad or it happened with the amount but we had to go out every minute because it was impossible to be.

Stay of 4 days

We were 4 and stayed for 1 week. The pool, ping-pong table and swimming pool are very pleasant. The owner who does not speak French according to her said he gave us the conversation in French as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Clara, the housekeeper is very warm and attentive to our wishes.

It's great.

In 2016 we had discovered this remarkable place and we returned there amazed at the beauties brought in during our absence. The reception is always excellent. More many visits to do within a radius of 60 to 80 km. The Serra de Esttela, the Douro, the Villas of Trancoso, Viseu, Guarda, etc... We will definitely be there next year.

We are a retired couple who have been visiting the Portuguese every year for 7 years. This year we had booked in this place for 2 nights to join the Douro and visit Porto. Finally we stayed for 15 days so we were so delighted with this place. The availability of the owner to satisfy any of our desires, the staff who speak French, the excellent breakfast, the impeccable swimming pool, the many hikes, the proximity of many places to visit (Douro, Trancoso, Viseu, Lamego, etc...), finally everything we can expect. We leave there without hesitation as soon as we can.

The houses are stunning, the decoration of the modern and comfortable houses, the well-equipped kitchen, the complete and varied breakfast with local produce, the common areas with many facilities (swimming pool, ping-pong, pool, etc.).
