my partner and i stayed here on the first and last night off our ten day holiday as our chosen accomadation wasnt available , pros ... near a supermarket and a bus stop ,close to the oldtown and a short walk to the marina , cons , dated ,dark and oldfashioned , although apartments are spacious they seem closed in because off it being dated ,very hard beds no sleep at all , on our stay on the last night we had to get one off the owners to check bathroom ,it was leaking from vent in the floor ,he came quickly and sorted it ,it was a build up off hair and sand he said ,also tap didnt turn off whole night , if you are looking for a cheap stay and dont mind a few hiccups dated rooms an awkward entrance to get into hotel a reception that is hardly manned ect then go for it ,managers polite enough but i would never stay here again .

quick stopover before starting holiday

Because I have slight mobility problems due to arthritis in both knees, I found the several narrow steps at the entrance challenging, especially as there is an iron gate, locked most of the time, which opens outwards at the top. Keeping your balance whilst opening this gate isn’t easy. Guests are asked to lock this gate each time after entering or leaving the building. My apartment was ground level, as requested, but flights of steps led down to the pool area. The closet/wardrobe in the apartment had huge and heavy wooden sliding doors that needed really pulling hard with both hands to open or close. The sofa beds in the studio were very narrow and not comfortable. I did have a good sea view from the balcony, despite being on the ground floor.

No easy access facilities for the less able.

First of all I found the apartments to be dirty - we didn’t have the sheets changed once, just clean towels dumped in everyday. There was ants EVERYWHERE and the beds were the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever slept in. The view & location of the apartment was the only good thing about it and it was close to the old town and overlooking the beach. The kitchen stunk as soon as we walked in and just got worse throughout the stay. Also the lady owner ‘carla’ was quite rude - my partner mentioned being sunburnt in passing conversation and she told him to ‘go back to his own country’. We also asked them to book us a taxi journey home to the airport (it cost us €35 to get there from the airport) and the male owner came to pick us up in a minibus and charged us €60. Our door also wouldn’t lock/close without a fight and took 5 minutes each time! Also if you like sleeping in 35 degree heat and no air con this would be perfect for you but I will not be returning to these apartments.

Average stay & rude owner.

Good things:
Nice pool.
Ground floor rooms open to the pool.
Close to the shore and old town.
Friendly staff.

Poor things:
Sofabeds very uncomfortable and noisy in studio apartment. We pushed them together so that we could sleep together but this resulted in a cot style double bed. I didn't complain as I don't really see what difference it would have made, they were fully booked and so wouldn't have had any alternative beds.
The shower head had masking tape wrapped around it, not sure why.
WiFi was either non existent or very slow.
Sliding doors / shutters kept very little noise out.

I'm not sure I'd stay again in a hurry but for the money spent it was decent.

It was ok

It's a three-star hotel and you get exactly what you pay for. The place is exactly the same how the pictures show it. We called them upfront that we will arrive late and the owner showed up in time and she was really nice and helpful.

Nice place close to the old town of Albufeira

PROS: Very close to the beach, in fact it's a 5-minute maximum and right where the elevator of the Praia do Peneco is. The pool is also very nice. The location is perfect because what is the center is also very nice without having to walk much or climb mountains. CONTRAS: much of what we saw there (not if it's in Portugal in general) many very bad buildings. Este, very old. All the decoration, furniture, etc... very old. The cleaning shines by its absence, if every day they come to clean and change the towels and in 6 days the girl once entered the hotel would not sell anything bad.

Close to the centre, but left much to be desired.

The furniture in general was very old, some lights didn't work, including the night table and the terrace. The shower water turned brown when you first opened the faucet. The toilet paper and toiletries and cooking were very scarce. The reception staff were quite unpleasant. There were no plugs in the bathroom. The wi-fi didn't work. The only thing was the tranquility, the views and the location. I'm sure that for this reason there are much better things in Albufeira, which won't deceive you.

No, I do not recommend it.

But the wifi didn't work well in the apartment, so we're running after the shots, and we really have to have EVERYTHING, not even a sponge for the dishes.

Nice apartment.

With the price you pay you know that you are not going to anything ostentatious. Meet expectations. The staff is kind and attentive. Disadvantages: the apartments are old, the beds were a bit uncomfortable, we had problems with the door knobs, which fell off. We also had problems with the toilet, but everything was resolved as soon as we communicated it to the front desk. The best: very good sea views, good location (a 5 minutes from the surrounding area) and of course the price. Very recommended to spend a vacation with friends and without spending much money on accommodation.

It's good and cheap.

It's a hotel-like apartment with a kitchen.It's quite old, and needs some renovations, but fine.The owner is very nice, kind and always willing to help, and that's appreciated.The beds aren't ideal but you can rest well.It's also well located, close to the center but without the hustle and bustle of the party area.Good swimming pool, and everything clean.
