Ouratlantico first impression, well painted, tidy and clean, bit of a walk from gateway to reception for anyone unsteady. Plenty of books for readers and the foyer sells the essentials for a cuppa etc if you get there out of hours. Room safe has an odd key and lock which is easy enough to fit with a deposit of 20euro which is refundable when you return it to reception. Due to an infirm lady in our party we had a ground floor apartment. Straight out of the patio doors onto the veranda, over 10' of grass to one of the 2 pools. Unfortunately the pools do not appear to be heated but once in the water, you adjust. There is a heated indoor pool with a jaccuzi. To be honest, the Jaccuzi needs a damn good clean with a greasy scum line around it, maybe just a lapse. Weekends are boisterous with hen and stag parties, we had no trouble but the 'No diving sign' and the 'No loud music' sign were totally ignored. The rooms were reasonably clean but dated. If you want a clean cheapish base in Albufeira, you won't go wrong !!

Good base

Good hotel in good location, altough the receptionist with blackish/grey hair really wasn’t kind at all. One word answers and no respect for anyone she spoke too.I think it’s because me and my friends are teenagers? but you should treat everyone with respect no matter.Dampened our stay a bit, other than that it’s a decent hotel! Also beware if €100 security deposit on arrival. Cash only also, This was not mentioned at at all until we got to check in. The receptionist lady made us feel a bit unwelcome our stay it’s not hard to be kind to people who are being kind to you😀

Staff not friendly, good location

Just back from my stay here, and 4th stay at these apartments! We will be returning next year, myself and my friend love staying here. If your reading this review don't let any of the negative comments put you off staying here. Firstly all the staff very helpful and friendly,  apartments very  spacious and clean,  spotted a few ants, but if you tell them at reception,  they will give you ant spray,which once you've sprayed we never seen another single ant!  Pool is cold, but once your in that's not a problem! Now we always have our little black cat 🐈‍⬛️  who we named Faro and have seen him every year stay with us, and liked cuddling up to sleep at night with me 😊 strip not far about 10 minutes walk, and not too loud, loads of good eating places, highly recommended laras plaice to eat especially breakfast,  can't wait to return in 2024

Just back home from another amazing stay here,we've been coming here since 2018 and we will 100% definitely book to come back next year too, The reception staff are so friendly so I'm surprised to see some comments saying they are rude , I've never found them rude  
The pool area is beautiful and very well maintained, our only gripe this year is that we didn't have any housekeeping, our sheets weren't changed at all during our 8 day stay, But regardless of that everything else was amazing, this place is stunning, very close to the strip,but can't hear it .
Our little friendly black cat Faro is still there which him alone makes this place amazing, So please if you see him give him some tidbits and treats, we just love him 
All in all this place outstanding you won't regret staying here,

AMAZING PLACE YOU WILL LOVE IT HERE 

Firstly, the male receptionist was lovely!!! 
However, unfortunately we were greeted by a horrid female receptionist- immediately as we came up stated we have to give €100 deposit EACH as we were a hen party. I understand the reasoning but EACH was a substantial amount and we weren't made aware of this. When the woman just stated €100 each I just asked for an explanation as for why, she stared me blankly in the face and mocked me and demanded the cash. Very unwelcoming and rude. I get the need for some reassurance we wouldn't cause damage but the way she went about it was beyond a joke. I also asked for more towels on day 4 as we did not receive one bit of housekeeping during our 4 night, 5 day stay. Our bins were filled to the brim, no toilet roll and no clean towels. When I asked at reception she looked at me stating " do you see any towels here? I have no towels. No! Go away to your room." I asked for a house keeping number, she refused to give me any contact. I think the receptionist needs training on how to be more approachable to guests.

Unwelcoming and rude

We had an amazing time there were 4 adults in one room and the room was big enough for all 4 of us the hotel and are amazing Thankyou for an amazing time  we have booked for next year see u in may cannot wait 

Great  would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends thanks for a great holiday

Rooms were really spacious. Slept in better beds and pillows were lumpy. The really gud thing about this place was Ali. He served us breakfast lunch and drinks all day apart from Sunday his day off. Polite, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. He is an asset to this place and they need to keep him there.

Holiday was good. Was quite noisy on a night.

Stayed here for 10 nights had 10 nights with not much sleep the beds are like sleeping on concrete slabs no give in them at all. They say in the booklet they give you no noise late at night, no group bookings allowed, sunbeds can't be reserved all 3 happened. Stags and hens arrive on a Thursday and stay until the Monday. They are coming in at all times through the night making noise shouting and arranging the furniture by dragging it across the floor. The cleaning staff and it's location are the best thing about this place. We were in room 45 which is on the ground floor right on the corner where everyone passes to get to there rooms. This was our third time staying here and never before have we had such a bad experience but it is our last. 

Never again

The pool area and gardens are very well kept. First couple of days ok. Then large group of young men came and were shouting at 4 in the morning. Day after large hen party arrived and came in shouting in middle of night jumping in the pool. The peace was shattered! According to their website they don't accept large groups?? It's a shame because it spoiled the time there. Was pleased to get home for a nights sleep.

Partly ok

Stayed here for a week as a package holiday. The apartment itself was clean but could have been a tad more modern. The pool inside and out were very nice. Bar was very good but could have opened longer throughout the day and it did close at 5pm. Shower was very good. Beds however were not good and very hard. We did have a terrible problem with mosquitoes, myself and my partner both were bitten quite alot throughout the week and we did have to get a bug killing spray to keep mosquitos at bay. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Location is great for the strip and the beach.
