We were welcomed first with a guided tour of the property and the housing (studio) itself, and then we were also surprised by Daniela's kindness and kindness which welcomed us in a very warm way and proved to be one of the most valuable of this establishment. From the accommodation to the surrounding space, to the friendliness and professionalism of the host. To rest, to be in a group and to relax is undoubtedly a wonderful place!

The best stays in the beautiful region of Douro, incredible service, comfortable, clean, a great little lunch, an experience repeated over and over again, we love.

An amazing experience.

The place is fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the main house. It has excellent conditions for large groups with large common areas that are very pleasant. The nights were quite cold but the house has an extremely pleasant temperature. The view is fantastic and the outdoor areas are very well cared for. It has several options for those who do not want to cook, but if you choose to do it they also have all the conditions including barbecue. Totally recommended.

Excellent and unforgettable.

Family vacation in a relaxing place with fantastic views. Great location with views of the mouth of the Tua River, its confluence with the Douro River and with the possibility of making fantastic trails. The studios are welcoming and with everything necessary even to make meals. Everything was very well clean when we arrived and there is a heightened concern with hygiene standards due to SARS-CoV-2 with several disinfectants spread throughout the farm, concern about the division of the scrubbers by the studio  in the pool area and all the staff always wearing masks. The farm space is very nice and pleasant with everything a very relaxed environment. Daniela and Joana were impeccable, very attentive and always available to help. The only problem was that we liked our son and we would definitely like to return home from the site without any doubt.

A cozy and high-quality place

It was a very pleasant weekend. It had only one problem: I knew a little. For those who are from the city, like me, it was comforting to wake up with the birds in the middle of the tranquility. A beautiful and cozy space. Gardens well cared for. For those who have children it's a good option. It has a pool. A beautiful landscape over the mountains. The studios are very nice and cozy. Good taste prevails. There are many very interesting places around, for those who love nature, mountains and history of Portugal. I'll come back whenever I can. It's the kind of place I like.

Very pleasant and beautiful

A family holiday in a fantastic place that captures and captivates us both for its fantastic location, historic building and wonderful accommodations. A cheerful and professional reception that leaves us fully integrated and relaxed in this magnificent natural environment between the Douro River and the Tua. Special thanks to Daniela for the way she is able to pay attention to all the details so that our stay is always as pleasant as possible. And I also highlight the quality of the lunch and dinner service, which must be reserved in advance, and goes through an experience of sharing with the surrounding environment... high quality presented in a simple and traditional way, with family rituals, which proudly translates into the best of our cultural heritage. Your success is guaranteed! Thank you and so soon.

The family went on vacation... and they didn't want to come back.

Nuno and Anne are beautiful people and super welcoming. Have not met the owners but we had them on the phone and the lady sounded very nice too. First day here, their dinner recommendation was excellent, looking forward to try the in house dining, the chat and stroll around was super . The rooms are so clean, you can smell the fresheness on the sheets and pillows. The set up is very basic you have to bring your own water to drink and etc but do it and just enjoy pool and silence. And the view on its own. Its just a wonderful break from hotels and receptions and house keeping. We loved it! Will be back very soon.

I must add on this review that we stayed in the rooms outside the main house because we found them cosier. Also after trying the food, don't miss out on delicious home cooked hearty meals.

A little countryside treat.

Incredibly rude staff! We have never been so insulted in our lives by hotel staff, Ana, Daniella and especially by owner Pedro. We left the next morning, we weren't going to stay on another night! 

The place itself was stunning, but the rooms and bathrooms were tired and in need of repair. There was no milk or sugar ands no black tea, only herbal. 

Check in was disorganised, there was nobody to greet us and we had to make phone calls to get  the chef to check us in. We had called 40min before to say we were close by! 

We also have no hot water and heating did not work, there was very little firewood and no fire-starters or kindling so we were very cold, it was raining and freezing! 

We had tried go book for dinner, but this didn't go well at all. So we arrived and the chef Nuno was leaving and not prepared to stay for us. We had to then request that they assist us in finding somewhere else, as its a very remote place. This was also not easy and seemed to cause them allot of frustration to have to help us. 

Wont be back! We do not recommend

A cozy and high-quality location in one of the most spectacular locations in Portugal and the world. The DOURO You have fantastic views. An excellent swimming pool and the cherries right on the spot! The price is in check and the stunning landscape The sympathy of the owners and the couple who take care of the meals is also noteworthy! Congratulations!
