My dearest, I loved to meet Miss Julia and Mr. Emanuel, they're very friendly. Miss Julia washed my clothes in her washing machine and extended it. Another thing to emphasize after having a break, Miss Julia moved our room to one with a private bathroom. Good memories and I'll be back.

Good memories of St. George

We booked two nights at this B&B two months before we left. Given the pandemic situation we had made agreements with the owner to have the entire apartment available to us (we were 16 people). When we arrived however we found out that we had to share the accommodation and bathrooms with 6 other people. We tried to ask the owner for explanations, showing her the emails we had exchanged months before, but she did not want to hear the reasons. The owner also demanded to pay 40€ for two washing machines. As for the rooms: small, with no finite existence and infested with blasts. Avoid this place carefully.

To be avoided

We landed in this hotel with an organized trip. The owner had made sure that the apartment was reserved exclusively for our group, less than promised. We, as a couple, were assigned the double room, where space is nonexistent. A room in which as soon as we have the double bed, a window facing the stairs where anyone can pass and an entrance door facing the reception. She was forced to choose between privacy and air circulation; we chose privacy. The next morning we woke up stunned by the lack of oxygen. You must hope you don't happen to be in this room, otherwise prepare a oxygen pump!

Sao Jorge is one of the most beautiful Islands of the Azores. Arriving in the Harbor of Velas, the place to be is the splendid accommodation: "Azores Dream"
Julia and her husband, Manuel are the perfect hosts. Very helpful and very kind people! Rooms are very clean and comfortable with private bathroom. Possibilities to cook as well in a common kitchen. There are rooms with view on Pico Island with patio next by. Perfect location!!!
Airport shuttle available. Two small beaches are close by as well as the wonderful center of Verlas. Restaurants and grocery very nearby! Price / quality perfect! Very recommended!!! Thank you so much Lady Julia and Sir Manuel!! Coming back we know for sure where to stay again!!!

The perfect location in Velas - Island Sao Jorge - Azores

By far one of the accommodations where I found myself worse. The structure is a two-level accommodation (street level and first floor), each of which has its own common bathroom. Nothing to laugh at in terms of the cleanliness of the structure or in terms of the friendliness of the property, but the accommodation is unfortunately the one that weighed the most in my negative judgment. We stayed in a triple room on the first floor, or to be more precise we stayed in three in a room with three beds, but already of his the room was very small for two people, let's say for three present: this led me to sleep, for at least one night, on one of the same beds in the common areas, and to move my weight accordingly, also because of the perception of the smell of the stuff on the inside of the living room.

It's a pity, not a positive experience.

Very clean accommodation in all respects. Spacious and furnished bathroom. Very furnished and independent kitchen. The family is very open and friendly, it's a pleasure to chat with them.
