What can I say about this excellent stay? That's exactly it, a typical 19th century house I think, typical layout of the time, very good rooms, thank Mr. Miguel and wife for the kindness, sympathy, and hospitality provided... good people.

I spent two nights at the Casa d'Adoa with my husband and we loved it, from the hospitality and sympathy of Miguel and Inés to the room right in front of the pier of the Porte de l'Arrábida, the breakfast is amazing, we loved being there and we count on coming back.

It's all good.

The house is very beautiful, super clean, genuine and comfortable. The soundproofing of the rooms is great, everything is very quiet. We stayed in a room with a view of the Arrábida sea, beautiful and perfect. The hosts Inés and Miguel are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is excellent, varied and healthy. We will definitely return.

What a lovely stay we had! The House of Adôa is excellent! Our room was with a phenomenal view! Everything clean, pleasant and excellent decoration! Thank you to Miguel for his hospitality, friendliness and availability! We will surely return!

3 spectacular days 💚

Let me tell you that the stay was undoubtedly a pleasant surprise, I will return and recommend it to all my friends and not friends rsrsrsr. The house has a very pleasant and fresh outdoor area. Excellent location, right in the middle of paradise! Very quiet area, of the unique beauty of the house and the decoration! Of the organization of the space. I especially liked the owner a host born of the welcome, it is spectacular, very convenient, the friendliness and availability of Mr. Miguel. 5 star service in general.

No doubt a pleasant surprise the stay

No one very nice, private place and controlled access, guaranteed deposit, no braid, beach with rocks, and the possibility of canoeing, paddleboarding, island boating or dolphin watching.

Small haven of peace. Very friendly welcome from Miguel. Any charming small hotel just a few steps from the beach. Beautiful view of the room bay. Spacious room with bathroom. Ideal for a meeting with nature. Very quiet place. Reservation is compulsory. No restaurant in the establishment but nearby.

Formidable

A remote place between Setubal and Sesimbra, and despite the best summer weather, it was not so crowded. Miguel was the perfect host: always accessible to guests, a few times a day, good tips for local sights and the best place on the beach... For the road blocked during the summer months, we had a permanent pass permit. The breakfast was small but very fine: every morning there was unm of fresh fruit; juice, coffee, tea could be desired individually; croissants, buns and toasted bread could be made fresh when breakfast appeared; a little more variation and breakfast or a nice cheese would have been prepared, but the quality of the breakfast was excellent.

A relaxing vacation in a pleasant environment with a great host

Casa da Adoa is a lovely little B & B place in Portinho da Arriba,  approx 35 km south of Lisbon and only to be reached by car.
Rooms are nice and well appointed and breakfast is served outside on the patio, all taken care off and managed by Miguel.
For lunch and dinner, there are a couple of nice (fish) restaurants within 100 meters from Casa da Adoa.
A nice and quite sandy beach is located at approx. 5 minutes walk along a sandy coastal path.
Nature is nearby and during the evening hours, the entry gates had to be closed quickly  by Miguel, because a family of 3 wild boar walked by, obviously eyeing the green vegetation in the garden of the B&B
Great peaceful place and very much can recommend to stay there.

A little jewel off the beaten path

Thank you Miguel for everything. A warm welcome, very relaxed atmosphere. The access road is closed to traffic, but the few residents are given a pass to enter the establishment. It is perfect and well organized. Comfortable and clean accommodation. Very nice breakfast under the trees... What a beautiful place. I hope to return there one day.
