I don't know what they're feeding at this hotel, but my husband came back from a trip to Lipetsk with a severe food poisoning. The symptoms don't go away for the third day. He went to the reception with a complaint - there was only shoulders shaken.

Severe poisoning after visiting a restaurant

The rooms are very small, with a storefront, furnishings and furnishings, all according to the pre-script of 1979. However, only the rooms are relatively clean. The restrooms - in the best traditions of rebuilding - are the tulips, and the restrooms - compact. The restaurant - with the claim of On the Dvoransk, although from where Boyar in Lipetsk - they came from? - I don't mind! The food is rotten, the meat on a couple, and the garnish - not bad, it's pretty.

Be careful, the doors are closing!

The hotel is quite good almost in the center of Lipetsk. The hotel is large, the equipment is good on the first floor there is a restaurant. In the room the only thing that is old is a wooden parquet, although to whom as, may be beautiful. The furniture, bed is in good condition. The cleaning is done quality. On each floor there are coolers. The elevators are new (or in very good condition). The location is a little uncomfortable. To the nearest restaurants is about 1 km. Near the shops only KB. The restaurant on the first floor is bored after the 3rd time of visit. On the other hand, next door is the park, green. There is little dust. The hotel itself is a little far away from the road, which gives a certain amount of obstacles.

It's a good hotel.

It's a typical provincial hotel. It's exactly 3 stars, but quality. It's in the center, but not in the picturesque part of it. I stayed for 2 nights in a comfort room. I want to thank the reception girl, very nice and caring, changed the room and helped out on the little things.

There are no questions.

We stayed for a few days... probably a standard and semi-luxury room, not very large, judging by the reviews, I don't know... we lived in the room Greece... The fancy room, matches its price with the quality of the setting and the level of the equipment and the bathroom equipment... The photo of the room and the price are on the hotel's website... Everything matches!!!... Probably one of the two rooms that matches the three stars of the hotel... Breakfast... to choose one of the six or three options... not shiny, but enough to survive until lunch...

Not a bad hotel for a business trip.

In the 90s of the last century this was pretty much the only hotel in Lipetsk. In the meantime there are many other houses. The rooms have been renovated, but the whole hotel has hardly developed. The breakfast room looks like 30 years ago. The breakfast must be ordered the night before at the reception. 1 (!) cup of coffee, 2 slices of bread, two mirror glasses and 2 pancakes are the usual choices. Absolutely annoying is the dog barking that can be heard all night even with closed windows. Ohropax therefore not to be forgotten. On the departure day two more schoolchildren came to visit, which is also not very lively. Unfortunately, the Internet is fast. Modern hotels have not always been in operation in the middle of the city.

Refurbished but not modernised

This hotel has some of the most friendly stuff I ever experienced in Russia.
The hotel is relatively old and so is the ambience and the equipment of thr rooms. Wood floors and carpets are not modern design, but the rooms very clean and tidy. Wifi is good in strength and stability.
The shower cabins were installed later and are a bit small with a too large curtain which reduces the available späte to manouver.
The bed was good and the linen nice? Hick up as often in Russia is the heating which is not adjustable and hence you end up with open windows in winter and heating in full power.
The bar is not cosy but the personnel is attentive. Same for the for the restaurant and the food was good.
All in all a very good choice and value for money. A bit outside the town center but a taxi is not expensive and handy available.

old fashioned hotel and environment but very clean and friendly

I've already been to Russia for another project and I've added a routine visit to some customers. In Lipetsk I stayed at the Metallurg (the name says it all) where I've been before the crisis. I've found it the same: very small rooms (the single one is almost a cabin with a bed that occupies a wall) but clean. Breakfast à la carte... but they're always eggs and sausages.

For work it is acceptable.

This was hotel with the smallest room I have ever seen. Breakfast: you can choose from menu, mostly eggs and sausages on the list. For a few nights to sleep there when you are on business trip it is ok.
