Last summer, I stayed there, the hostel was cheap, 15 minutes to the subway. Even at night it's not scary to come back, because you're walking past the Clean Pools. Out of the blue - no individual cases, not very clean. It's better to come here in company. while walking all day, and only coming to the hostel for the night. For couples, especially with children, it's better to choose something better. Wi-fi catches best in the hall, in the rooms noot won't pull.

Cheap and angry.

The hostel is located not far from the Red Square, about 20 minutes walk from the Red Square. In order to spend a satisfactory night. 2 shower, 2 bathrooms, kitchen. There are fans, dishes in the kitchen, tapestry, washing machine (cloth). The windows go out into the yard, so it's quiet, but dark in the room.

It's a good hostel.

Big plus: 1. price/quality ratio 2. excellent location 3. clean, tidy, normal bedding Big minus: shared rooms for boys and girls (for 8 people in a room), no one, of course, bothered, but still not very comfortable A overall, very nice, atmospheric place

The goal is reached, there's everything you need to stay the night.

When you're traveling, sometimes you just want to relax, not just your body, but your soul. There's a soul, there's an atmosphere in this hostel. If you want the atmosphere, that's it. There's a piano and a couple of guitars. There's a good mood.

Good hostel.

The hostel has a hostel. The accommodation is for not too demanding travelers. The bananas are very cozy. It is near the Clean Pools. I came here when Moscow was dragged by bright girlands. Here at the Clean is incredibly beautiful. The hostel is five minutes' walk from the ponds and 15 minutes from the metro. With bags to be pulled away, but if from the metro Clean Pools, you can get to the tram. In the evenings you can play guitar, sometimes the kids come playing piano. This is the kind.

A cozy house in the center of Moscow

English speaking, knowledgeable, friendly staff; spacious, clean, comfortable accomodations! I enjoyed my stay very much, it was not crouded and over packed craziness with many restrictions, like other hostels I have stayed at in Moscow, and Russia in general! I will be staying here next time I return to Moscow!

Nice quite place with friendly staff!

We came to the place and questioned from the moment we entered the building.  The hostel is an apartment on the top floor.  Outside the front door you will see a couple chairs, cigarette butts all over and garbage can full of beer bottles.  The place reeks of cigarettes and stale beer.  Once you enter the place it appear nice.  Staff is very nice.  However, the rooms need a serious vacuuming.  Under the beds hasn't been cleaned since opening from what I can tell.  Both showers were broken, be plugged so it overflowed , the other leaking from somewhere underneath all over the floor and water flowing and making a puddle in the kitchen.  Only one toilet works, the other you need to take the back off and jiggle the plunger to make it flush.  Kitchen was a gross, nobody, except staff cleaned up their mess.  Hostel rules were not enforced.  We contacted the manager to complain and received a complaint from him that it was very difficult and time consuming to get thing fixed.  When we cancelled and found a new hostel he asked his staff to bill us an early cancellation fee, we protested and didn't pay of course.  This place is a true slum experience.  I wouldn't start here or at any other hostels this company owns.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Good place for such price! The hostel is situated directly near two metro station and located in a quiet courtyard. Nearby there are boulevard and garden.

Wi-fi is free and works around the clock in the lobby and in the rooms. Since I broke down during the trip my computer - I thought that I would stay without a job, because I freelance, but the hostel offers free laptops.

The housemaid came every day. I also asked her to change clothes - and she can easily do that. I stopped in 4 bad-room and worried-about the neighbors. But young couple from Italy lived with me, who left early in the morning and came in the evening.

The room is warm in winter and there is plenty of plugs!
You can smoke on the landing - it's convenient, you do not need to go out and dress up every time.

The staff were really helpful and efficient, helped me with registration and train tickets to Ekaterinburg.
I ate at the hostel in the morning and evening -there is a comfortable kitchen. But sometimes there is pandemonium at the tables. Plus I saved on the tea and coffee - they were free.

Overall, I would recommend this hostel especially for those who stay for a short time (1 week as I have done), and I'll probably go to this hostel again in the summer!

Friendly staff and good quality for the price

I shall keep this short as I could write a full report on the experience: The staffs here are wonderful and welcoming and great people to talk to. They are helpful and gave us some great advice of places to see and where to go etc. However the hostel is very very basic and suitable if you’re just passing through maybe for an overnight stay. If you are used to clean 4 star or above standards of living then this is not the place for you. The kitchen is filthy with grime and flies everywhere so we resorted to sterilising everything in boiling water and microwaving utensils (not metal objects).  The toilets smell and need a good scrub, no sign of bleach or disinfectant and the shower room is basic again unhygienic and in need of a good clean. 

The rooms are spacious but the bed sheets where appalling, luckily a thin washed bed sheet and duvet cover was given to us but I used my towel over the pillow and bed to add an extra layer as the stale smell of the bed an pillow made me rather uncomfortable. The rooms are rather grotty and untidy, I noticed that the room had not been cleaned after the last tenants with a pair of underpants and a stale food left behind. 

Health and safety warning: The electric cooker is faulty which will give you a shock when using the metal sink to wash things. Please be careful. 

This place is ideal if you’re on a tight budget or as a last resort.
