It's a terrible repair, hot water runs in 10 minutes, the bath is uncomfortable, it's running hot.

I wouldn 't recommend it.

On a short-term business trip, you can live without a TV, and without a teapot, and without a refrigerator (the window was so crowded that the food froze on the window sill), over the bathroom there was paint crumbling. The palace hadn't seen any dirt all the time you were staying at the hotel, like wet cleaning, liquid soap was like cat cried.. pillows made of battered synthetic,.... the rooms needed urgently good capital repairs so that the light from the hallway didn't penetrate the cracks in the entrance door.. but for a few nights you could get into the Soviet era of our country...

The hotel needs to be updated.

I've been thinking for a long time about what to call a review, because it's not right to call this community a hotel... My choice was conscious of the anticipation of all the pleasures that were expected, and it was solely due to economic reasons. So, if it's okay, then there's no breakfast there, and it's never been there. It's got to be put right into the cost of living.

Well, that's a very unimportant placement option...

I've got a check. I've read the reviews before I checked in. I've had little to change. But unfortunately, they booked it for me. I wrote a letter on Sunday morning, hoping to ask a few questions. Silence in response. Monday after lunch wrote another one. They called me back saying that there was no more work to be done on my road until tomorrow.

Shame on you!

Not bad numberanains on the 3rd floor, in the room, the teapot, the heater, the cups, the refrigerator, the pl/window. Breakfast is not on. I left the key at the reception - the room was removed. First we were given on the 4th floor... there's grease!

The Sailor

Not too bad rooms with an old fashioned bathroom with a slippery bath. Beds are oldish. Breakfast is remarkeble. It gives enough calories, but not everybody likes for instace rice with chicken or thick custardpudding in the morning.
There is no restaurant.
The citycenter is quite near. 
The hotel is an experiance.

As you can see from the name of the hotel (sailor) it is related to the naval industries. It is owned and managed by the local shipping company. Many of the guests are still the sailors. It is used to be the dorm-hostel earlier and now it is in the process of transition to hotel + business center from dorm type hostel. 

We had to stay in Moryak: there were no available double rooms + we did not have the budget for 2 single either in other downtown hotels. 

I did not sleep well for the first night due to the combination of factors: white nights - it was already light at 5.30 in the morning and I did not close shades; doors and walls are too thin - elevator's door started banging early in the morning and my room was very close to it :-(

Second night we had to move from our demi-lux rooms on the 3rd to the 4th floor where they have only regular rooms. They started to paint frames in the hall of the 3rd floor with oil paint. My colleague is allergic to it and could not stand it. There has been no problem in exchanging and returning the difference between the classes of the rooms. The regular room is much simpler but I slept there better as it was away from the elevator and it has 2 doors.

I did not have a chance to have breakfast as first I was up when it was already closed and second - not open yet but there are several nice cafes around.

All rooms that I saw are satisfactory. All are different as they are constantly renovating and you could have new type of bed in one and the older one in the other and etc.

In general, price-wise it was ok but if you have higher budget - go for something else.
