The place is nice, but it's very noisy. The idea is also good, but the apartments are completely uncomfortable - you can meet cockroaches, underwear with holes. And even in your absence they can come in, pick up the fan and take it to the neighboring apartments without telling you anything. And you'll only understand this at night when you want to turn it on. The manager blames the hostess, sends the maid to solve the questions, start telling stories that the hostess thought her acquaintances lived in this room, so she went in, took it. Although that day the hostess came for a reason to see the balcony and knew perfectly well that there were resting people living.

The dismal attitude towards people.

I picked it up because the office was right in the building across the street and I didn't want to waste time moving around on transport, I came to work. The room wasn't busy and I got settled at 8am, which was very pleasant. It wasn't very clean in the bathroom, it was dusty straight. It didn't smell fresh. I got a room with a balcony. A bottle of water and a couple of tea bags are waiting for you.

For non-custodial guests

My friend lived in one of the apartments of Apple Paradise all of February 2016, I live nearby (born and raised on the Petrograd side) and visited him. Beautiful location, cozy, stylish, all the zones thought out, there is something to cook from, good water pressure, a comfortable bed, a quiet yard. Very much like us, like Petersky. A large number of hostels (about a hundred), Apple Paradise in my native area was very pleasant. I will definitely settle guests there. Thank you to the owners for the flexible approach and the opportunity to go to meet us.

These are beautiful apartments!!!

We lived in green apartments for five days. I liked everything: the location, the comfort. If you don't stick to the little things in the apartment clean, but as a reminder to the owners - put a bucket with a bucket so that you can wipe the floor, in five days of our stay we have accumulated little things and small garbage, yet three children, but neither dust nor bucket I have not found. I bought a bucket to wipe the dining table in a nearby store. In the apartment there are only four chairs, so we had to eat standing, at least some tablespoon!

The Green Apartment

I was on a business trip to St. Petersburg and stayed at this mini hostel. Everything was very pleasant. Very convenient location - you can come in the evening, watch the bridge break-up. There is a supermarket where you can buy food for breakfast or dinner. There are several cafes and restaurants in the district. There is a metro station nearby. Nearby is the Z. Freud Museum. The room is very cozy, well furnished - you feel at home. There is a kitchen, refrigerator, all the dishes. The living room is democratic, the quality of service is pleasant.

Very cozy apartments in the city centre

My wife and I have been very busy in this structure. The accommodation consisted of a very large room, with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The tower is well furnished and very clean. The place is a metro stop from the Hermitage and you can walk to the old fortress of St. Petersburg. The owner Anastasia, a perfect Italian speaker. The area is full of shops. I recommend it to anyone who should go to St. Petersburg.

Get out of here.

Convenient location - about 5 min walk from Sportivnaya metro station, about 25 min walk to Hermitage. Very hard to find though as it is located on the second floor of an apartment complex. There is a tiny sign on the front door, but you'd never see it from the street. The front door buzzer  (to the actual apartment complex) was broken, which meant unrestricted access and a very dirty entrance with random teenagers drinking and partying. We felt safe, but I can see how it can scare someone. On a positive note, reasonably clean apartment (not meticulous, but it is in Russia after all, and you are paying less than $100 a night in St. Petersburg), we had everything we needed, it was quite, free wi-fi (although on their website, they list that they charge). The lady who checked us in turned out to be the owner and was fairly rude in the beginning. However, after we chatted a little, she warmed up, so no ill feelings here. This is NOT a good choice if you don't speak Russian and don't know the city. There is no staff - forget English-speaking, there is just no one there, you are pretty much on your own. Yet again, having reviewed all the other alternatives for the price and location, I'd certainly come back.
