Just such a shame when a hotel seems to have pandemic ignorance to its poor service and standards. The receptionists don't smile or make any effort to be welcoming - I think we were an inconvenience to their jobs. The rooms had multiple issues of lack of care or maintenance. In the room there were glasses and a jug but it was not possible to get a drink at all. On arrival we enquired about adding the breakfast option to the booking (it was 2pm the preceeding day) and were told we'd have to ask the lady who makes breakfast in the morning and maybe we could persuade her! We failed so I asked reception if I could get or make a coffee, At first I was told to come back at 8am (it was 7.30) then a little after 8 I returned and was told to wait until after the breakfast guests had finished. To no avail I was then told there was a shop 5 minutes walk where I could get a hot drink - I set off and discovered that this shop did not open until 10am so my partner headed off to a neighbouring hotel (Hotel Sea of ​​Azov - Гостиница Приазовье) and they were the polar opposite in terms of service, quality and standards - we kicked ourselves for not researching more. Back to the Gostiny Dvor - broken and missing window blinds, very old mattress with springs sticking into us, dirty shower, no shower gel or shampoo, only one towel in a twin/double room, only one pillow in a double bed, dirty floor, dead flies in the window (can't all have died the day we arrived), dirty windows, tired decor with torn and worn wallpaper, the extra blanket in the wardrobe was lumpy and musky, one of the sheets on the bed we had to make was wet,some window spares just lying around in the bathroom, and so it goes on. Just don't bother staying here - I hope someone who does care at this hotel takes a walk round and sees these problems...but they will need to care first - we didn't feel anyone did. I really wanted to contact someone directly after staying but I just can't find any email contact info so the only thing I can do is warn others to save them from the same experience we had.

No-one cares it seems

I wanted to stay in the Congress Hotel, but there were no seats for the action, and I did not want to pay 3000 for the night. On my way through the city at night I saw a bright sign Guest Court. I was lucky enough to find out about the availability of seats. I was greeted by the administration and offered a one-seat room for 1500 rubles with breakfast. It was a good offer but I could not refuse. I liked a cozy room equipped with everything necessary. It is a climate control unit, television, shower room, etc. In the morning a full hot breakfast was served.. I liked it, I recommend it to everyone.

It's a very nice place to relax.

Spacious, clean rooms. Staff are keen to make sure the hotel is quiet and relaxing. A great bonus - in addition to breakfast, dinner is included. Food is full and homemade. Staff responds to requests instantly. Wi-Fi is not very good.
