I ask myself - what's the best part about this b&b? Is it that your car is met by two dogs eager to welcome you? Or the charming owners? Or the relaxing atmosphere? Or the perfect installations? Or the generous breakfast? I guess we'd have to open a poll, because for me it's impossible to decide. Also I am torn between spreading the word and keeping it to myself so I am sure to find a room next time...

The house is located next to a creek, in the middle of a rural environment, out of sight of any other civilization, and everything is the way it was 100 years ago...so you might expect creaky faucets, damp walls, bugs and heavy wool blankets. Instead, you find everything has been renewed - keeping the old style, including visible enlaced cables and twist switches...the walls are thick and stone, but not cold, and there's great heating...they apologized for the poor wifi signal, but I was able to do everything I needed with less signal droppage than at my house.

The breakfast was diverse and abundant, homemade omelets and cakes included, no need for lunch!

The room was large, with a big sofa and desk (not just a symbolic easy chair with a small table, as in many places). More room and hangars in the closet than most 5-star hotels, and all the towels and bedspread have the lovely logo from Casa Horta...

All of this made the stay wonderful, but what made it truly unique was the warm welcome and treatment from the hosts. Jordi and Marcelo are charming, generous to a fault, and fun to talk with. The book selection in my room included a book on dachshunds, another book in Chinese...about as eclectic as you can imagine. Whether you want to bunker down or go out exploring, this is a great venue for a day, weekend, or even a week.

Perfect stay in idyllic location

It's a very charming place, with a very good care and a spectacular breakfast.We stayed in the townhouse and were very comfortable: well decorated, cozy, clean and comfortable.

Insurmountable, the wonderful little houses and the rooms do not lack the details, a special environment to enjoy nature... together, insurmountable, to repeat, sure.

A weekend of terror.

We had a fantastic weekend, the lovely Jordi and Marcel, always attentive and making us feel at home, and the two dogs who have great sounds, and we went out with Rocky, our puppy, and had a great time.

The perfect weekend.

On arrival we were greeted by a nice, wonderful dog, who welcomed us!! Jordi the owner, always attentive to all the needs we may have. The excellent facilities, the excellent breakfast (natural products made by jordi). A place to go as a couple (because the children are omitted) and is super relaxing.

Relax totally

The surroundings of the country house are privileged. Close to the town of Berga and away from all the hustle and bustle of the city in the middle of an esplanade near the village of Avià. The house next to a stream, surrounded by extensions of grass well cared for by the owners of the country house, the feeling of nature with the songs of the birds, the rally of the pure-blooded horses that care for the same owners, the cacare of the chickens from which the owners made us some good eggs in the mornings.... Idílico and bucólico at the same time, we have spent a magnificent weekend with our pet who has enjoyed the freedom to express a sense of wonder... Especially thanks to Marcel Jordi (Jordi Tordado) who has recently made the most of our newly arrived houses, and all of our contemporaries, who have been enjoying the beautiful, beautiful, beautiful and all-inclusive rooms in our country houses.

The best country house we've ever been to!

We spent a weekend and it was a very good choice. Both Jordi and Marcelo were very attentive and hospitable with us, they made us feel one more there. The room we chose had a fire and a mini kitchen, ideal for preparing something for dinner. Everything very clean and with all the comforts you might need. The breakfast, with local products and various pastries made by them, has just confirmed our good choice. The large and comfortable bathroom. The exteriors are great, with tables and chairs to enjoy the tranquility of the environment. Highlighting the good treatment they had with us and the details. I can only say that we have enjoyed it very much and have enjoyed it, repeating it whenever we can.
