It's a perfect location, but it's very simple. If you have any demands or any kind of body, it's not the place for you, but to enjoy the city on a weekend is very convenient.

They share.

Incredibly dirty, poorly maintained. Common spaces in total degradation. Improper camera, smelly, dirty, overcast. Bathroom to be avoided absolutely, the description of the services offered is no less true than the images on the site!!! 5 floors of stairs consumed and in a state of total degradation. The prices in comparison with the services offered and what rooms and for nothing, Going to that room at the end of the day was more than an incubation!

I'm not going to be able to do this.

The location is excellent, two steps from the Placa Catalunya subway, directly on La Rambla. The only defect is 5 floors without an elevator so not accessible to everyone. We were in triple room number 1 with shared bathroom.

Excellent position without claims.

The only thing that was true: the location. The facilities and services were a fraud. A filthy portal, 5 floors without elevator, wall-supported foot mattresses, doors with oxidized pests and cayendos, dirt, ceilings and unlocked walls, dirty bathrooms with black spots and disgusting towels.....horrible.

False advertising is misleading.

1.You have to get the keys from another location far from the hotel 
2.There is more than 100 steps to the top floor (no elevator)
3.Nothing is like the photos, It's simply a cheep and primitive place with no facilities at all.
4.Location is the best you can get.

Best location, Worst quality

We arrived to a room with dirty beds, called the reception who couldn't help us with cleaning, new room or moving to another hotel. We found a hotel on our own and asked for a refund from City Ramblas through hotels.com. The receptionist fabricated a story that we can disprove with recordings and written communication and she refused to reimburse us the money. The room was of course available for other guests the very next day in the middle of Barcelona, so they got potentially double paid for half the job. 

Hotels.com on the other hand gave us a partial refund and were fair and professional as always. 

Never again 

It is a scam, it is preferable to pay 15 euros or more for a hotel.The reception is a 30-minute walk from where the accommodation is.The rooms are dirty, the care is terrible.A penalty.

The BCRH is the BCRH.

Everything is fine, comfortable, clean and accessible. The only thing that doesn't have an elevator and is the last floor. For a night out and continue the journey is great. The bed is comfortable and everything is in perfect condition. In addition, I touch the balcony and get a lot of air.

After my boyfriend made the reservation and paid, I went to see the reviews on TripAdvisor and I was very apprehensive. However, the experience wasn't so bad. We confirmed that we had to go and get the key at another address, as it says on the website, the positive point is that it's close to some tourist attractions and we enjoyed the trip. The hostel is poorly signposted, and the first impression when we entered the building is bad, but after 102 stairs the surprise is positive, note that the building is already old but smelled clean and the room was impeccable, we were three nights, every day they gave us washed towels, and at the end of the second night they have to change the sheets. The room is not. However, if I repeat once again that the negative points are in the metro, I know that the bathroom is in the same place as the private bathroom, and I know that the location of Rambla is in the same place as the private bathroom in the house.

I thought it was worse.

It's a dirty place and in a bad state. Better to sleep on the street. Common spaces are totally degraded. Room is unsuitable, smelly, dirty, dirty. Bathroom to be avoided.
