Very very basic hotel. Had read great reviews, but certainly didn’t live up to the hype. It’s in a great, though noisy area. The rooms very old & a bit grubby. Bathroom very basic. Air con didn’t seem to work properly & the room was stifling- & this was in November! On the plus side, the staff were lovely & the cafe downstairs served delicious boccadillos. Wouldn’t stay here again

Very basic hotel

A clean room, an efficient sdb with a large Italian shower in a sober hotel within walking distance of the Ramblas, the Boqueria and the Gothic Quarter.

Ideal for visiting the heart of Barcelona

The hotel is in the right category, breakfast with variety and very interesting flavors, great shower and good bed, very nice people in attendance, a strategic location for anyone who wants to give that leg up in every corner!

Have a nice stay!

Should have been ok but the last night was a disaster. Flooded bathroom, water in the room and even in the corridor. Missed a reservation at the favorite restaurant and received no understanding or compensation whatsoever.

Wrote repeatedly that they will refund part of the cost of 3 nights but have not received a reply. Just want your money and then they take no responsibility no matter what happens. Avoid.

Service should be service. Pre, during and post stay/ booking. Not at this place.

Ok to Disaster

The geographical location of the establishment, located 1 minute from the ramblas, 2 minutes from the market, from the Boqueria, 10 minutes from the Plaza de Catalunya or the Jewish quarter, 15 minutes from the cathedral, 20 minutes from the Born district and the botanical garden, or 30 minutes from the Barceloneta beach, allows you to enjoy Barcelona on foot! Unfortunately, it has a price, 200 € per night. Even if the establishment has just been refurbished, the rooms are not very convenient.

It's a great job, but it's too expensive.

I really liked this wonderful hotel with its good location, great staffing, its lovely varied breakfast, large, clean restaurants, rooms of all kinds, especially the beautiful Miss Nissrine with her beautiful smile, her kindness, her professional education, that she wishes a good future in her professional career, she deserves it, without forgetting her director señor marrouf's generosity with her clients, without a doubt we will return soon.

Excellent hotel 

We booked a room for several days and when we arrived they said our prenotation was cancelled. Obviously we haven’t cancelled anything.
The place was dirty and full of stuff everywhere.
Old tv screens, mattresses and plastic.
They left us without a place to go and even treated us badly.

Worst accomodation experience ever

The rooms are very small and old, the staffing is not there, no question what, no question what, breakfast is very basic and of very poor quality, the location is very good but there is a lot of noise both inside and outside the hotel.

Centered but very simple for the price.

We stayed three nights in this hotel. Staff of few words, usually in the hotel give some general information about the city/ points of interest in this case nothing. The location is fabulous and it is one of the strengths of this hotel. It is practically on the Rambla, next to the Liceu metro and opposite the Boqueria. The rooms are not very large, ours was probably a double but they put three beds. Small but clean bathroom and with little dryer and the indispensable to wash. Cleaning the rooms every day so clean rooms. We didn't take it, breakfast cost 8 euros and it didn't seem so inviting to me. With Starbucks, Donkeys, so the market is not worth it! Recommended if you have more than the location in front of the hotel!

Hotel with great location!

I stayed one night in Barcelona in the worst hotel I've ever been to, none of the employees were Spanish or even spoke English well. The room looked like it came from a horror movie, there was an empty pack of tobacco in the storage room, dirty bathroom floor, absolutely burnt-out headboards of cigarette tips, and a help basket as well. When we were moving from the 4th floor elevator into the elevator on the second floor, an individual was smoking a cigarette which bothered us immensely and we immediately left it, going down the stairs to the R/C. Considering that we are in the middle of a pandemic, hygiene care is unnecessary. When we finally came to the breakfast table, we were presented with a cruising of chocolates and had absolutely NOTHING to eat without paying for it.
