We hired the entire apartment for four nights in the middle of june. We were welcome by Telma who was very hepful and efficient and also helped us with our taxi bookings when we were leaving for Seville. The apartment is very well located. Close to the Sagrada Famila and in a very lively and beautiful part of Barcelona. However the rooms need a serious upgrade and they have to sort out the smell from the Bathrooms. Which    has a sewer smell due to some plumbing  problem, Well if the management get their act together and sort this out it is a great place to stay and very well located.

We stayed with a friend in one of the guest house rooms. telma was very kind and showed us the place. the rooms are very comfortable! there are two bathrooms (one had a problem with cloaks at the time) and a large kitchen. the location is very nice! despite not being in the center, it is a very beautiful neighborhood, with many attractions including the sacred family two blocks away! the metro is nearby and there are several supermarkets nearby. super recommended!

No coffee maker, apartment smelled like a sewer had backed up in it, ants in bathroom and kitchen.  However, this is in a very convenient location close to Familia Sagrada and my good restaurants. Telma, our host was there to greet us when we arrived provided excellent restaurant advice and on request, had a cab waiting for us to take us to the cruise terminal. We made it for two for 2 days but I would not go back and suggest you look elsewhere for more suitable accommodation. 

You can find better although this is a convenient location, it needs improvement to move up in ratings

Its location should be highlighted to anyone interested in being two blocks from the Sagrada Familia.The kindness of the owner Telma.My rest was not comfortable.The mattresses need to be renovated.I felt the spring of the mattress in the back.The strong smell of moisture inside the room.

A short walk from the Sagrada Familia.

Stayed 5 nights over New Year at €41 a night in single room with comfortable enough single bed, wardrobe and desk and chair. Pretty cramped in finding a spot for your bag. Smallish apartment with 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms and communal kitchen. All rooms are either next to a bathroom or the kitchen so the quality of your stay depends a lot on your neighbours. The majority of the time it was pretty quiet except for the group one night who decided to shower and wash clothes at midnight until 1am when I had an early start the next day (and my last night when they thought 1am showers would be a good idea). Wifi in the room was pretty poor (except later at night) which was frustrating. Never a wait for the shared bathrooms. Supermarkets and ATM within 50 metres. Less than 5 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia, restaurants, fast food and coffee shops and metro. Location is pretty good. No reception and you'll be lucky to see anyone so definitely a place for the self sufficient (although always clean and bathroom restocked). Key for building, front door and your room. Intercom when arriving for the first time can be a little confusing - you need the button second from the bottom on the left hand side (see photos). Taxi was €35 from airport. Returned via metro from La Sagrada Familia to Passeig de Gracia Metro and then Airport train using 2 trips on my T10 card (€2) -   trains leave every 30 minutes but give yourself plenty of time. I think you need to exit the station and walk a block or so up to the Passeig de Gracia entry opposite Casa Batllo where the airport train leaves from Platform 1. Takes approx 30 minutes and you then need to catch the shuttle if your leaving from T1.

Convenient Location

The room we touched was small. It had moisture stains on the wall and a small painting... Removing that and the small bathroom was very bad, as if there were any problems with the cafeteria the rest was fine. It doesn't have breakfast included, but the tools to prepare it with your shopping. It's to spend the night because it's very small and has no TV anywhere. It's close to the sacred family. Which isn't in the center as I thought. Although there is a metro stop nearby.

To spend the night, cheap...

The Padilla Guet House made a very neat impression. The room as well as the shared kitchen were very neat and clean. You will be greeted with a friendly welcome and the details will be explained. However, visitors who bring a guest (even if only for 1.2 hours) will not be tolerated.

Very clean, but strict

We spent a weekend in the guesthouse. It's super central, only about five minutes' walk to the Sagrada Familia, but still relatively quiet. You can get there by metro, which is also right next to the Sagrada Familia, and you can get to all the relevant places. The rooms and the kitchen are clean, the bathrooms are clean. There's free, stable toilet, the environment is very friendly, almost family friendly, and you can come in anytime. Check out is at 12:00, which I personally very much welcome. In short, we were very satisfied. Always happy to come back!

In the middle of it

The apartment is wonderful; clean; cozy rooms; well-equipped kitchen; super attentive staff, especially Telma and Aisha; great location near Gaudi Avenue and the holy family subway; DEMAIS index for those who want to stay further away from the center and want to feel at home!

What a wonderful place to stay, superindividual!

Staed here in May 2015. Lovely big room,friendly hostess and clean spasious bathroom available to share. Biggest problem is noisy street if you want to get to bed early after a long day. Location is perfect,just off the Pasge De Gaudi and a short walk from the Sagrada and Hosp San Pau which is a must visit for all who are in Barceloan.
