Customer attention hotel chain Silken and hotel Villa de Laguardia. X-ray of what happened to us on 14 December 2023 at the Hotel Villa de Laguardia (Alava). Pre-booking, we arrived at the hotel at 2:30pm to eat, there was only one other couple (with dessert) and we two. The waitress makes the order that we indicated: 1o Croquetas y risotto 2o Ventresca y costilla astilla 3o Torrija y coulant y for drinking water. Thanks to the client serving the croquetas y risotto too liquid, it looks like a hot rice, with the acidic flavor of being cooked for days and recalled.

4 stars with poor quality.

We were staying on 23/09/2023 and the dinner was a robbery, a menu of 22 € per person of steamed meat, we were given 3 small asparagus, a small piece of pork that goes into the palm of the hand, a small toaster, water and wine harvested, the tables next to us the same menu and all with a face of wonder, where the steamed meat was, looked like a pinch.

A disagreeable experience of the restaurant.

A deal that leaves much to be desired. we went last Sunday to have a drink in the cafeteria or the wine bar and were not even allowed to enter. if there is too much work at the time you can kindly say, as. you should wait so long, but directly that they are at the top is not a response in a site of this level. and if it is only for customers, then it is said from the beginning and so no one is bothered. i had idealized this site, and would have gone on some special occasion to the hotel, but with that treatment they have lost a client.

We've been very good, I don't understand many bad reviews, in particular my experience has been very good, everything very clean and welcoming. The breakfast is very good and the food at the restaurant is very recommended. The location is perfect and the treatment provided is very good. We will definitely return.

I don't understand the bad criticism he has.

The hotel needs greater care from the owners.The price of the room would justify having at least two basic things available.The first, a mattress where you can rest comfortably and not spend one of the worst nights of your life.And second, and much more serious, that your baby is not put in a manger with restaurant napkins as a mattress.On the other hand, entering through the door of the hotel looks like you are entering an abandoned house.In the end, thanks to the treatment we received from the person in charge of the restaurant, we were able to resolve these discrepancies.

Lack of resources

The hotel is great for a two-star, very clean and comfortable bed, the spectacular treat very friendly, dining in the hotel restaurant, the very tender meat and brass, the puerros y espárragos muy buenísimos, recommended.

Hotel two stars

The location is good, it's central. The rooms are very spacious but empty spaces. There is no table or desk, when there's plenty of room. There are no plugs, in the bathroom there's no towel hanger or lights in the mirror and there's no room to leave the necessities. On television there's no TV or radio, when hundreds of channels from other sides are tuned in. It seems to me that Elciego is Basque, isn't it?

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in mid-June, just as the hotel was reopened. The fantastic attention, both from the man and the woman (and I'm sorry, I didn't get the names). The very strong breakfast, you won't be hungry (biscuits, juice, toast, jam and butter and coffee/infusion) for 4 euros and something, it's definitely worth it. We got a room on the second floor, which was very nice. With a view to the church. It's true that the mattress was a hard pillow, but for me it's not a problem. The TV was good and the bathroom with a bathroom as well. There's a parking lot about 100 meters from the hotel, but the village is small and it's easy to find parking nearby.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, a strong breakfast, a local winery, and the surrounding towns are well worth a visit, the scenery and the wine in the area are stunning.

A very small room and half of it is under a staircase. You have to bend down to get out. It has a window to a very small interior space too. You can find cheaper hotels in the area with much higher amenities.
