Bungalow with beach foot, frescoes, amenities and all the amenities (kitchen, fridge, etc.) - best possible. Personal very kind, we offer power ducharnos in the afternoon before we go to catch the plane and have left the bungalow.

Incredible place to live.

Dirty apartment, kitchen with bad smelling tools and invasion of ants. 2000 euros for a week, towel change and surface cleaning (only twice a week).

See only the sea

Beautiful bungalows two steps from the sea.We had chosen the Premium which has two terraces, one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom with sea view...optimal cleaning and towel change after 2 days.All the very nice furniture chosen with style even if all Ikea, in fact the kitchen smoke cap is very noisy and not functional and the double bed very uncomfortable, at least the mattress (given the cost of booking) could be of a higher level.

Bungalows facing the sea

You need to understand what you are going to get when you stay at Vogamari.  The accommodations are very simple.  But, they work perfectly well if your objective is to achieve close to perfect relaxation in what we think is the best beach location on Formentera.  Everything in our unit worked fine.  The place was clean, the cleaning crew did a good job twice a week, the bathroom was modern, the bed comfortable and the kitchen/refrigerator/cooker worked just as they should have.  The only upgrade I could suggest would be to replace the small seating unit that converts into a bed for a child with a more comfortable small couch (maybe that could pull out into a bed?).  There is no television, but we thought that was a plus as we went there the relax and disconnect.  

The biggest thing you get at Vogamari is location, location, location.  There are an abundant number of great beaches on Formentera, but we think Playa Migjorn is the best, and we know that the perfect long sandy strand that was 100 yards from our apartment's door is the best section of Migjorn.  It was windy on Migjorn one day of the time were there so we elected to go to the opposite side of the island to Playa Llevant, which is also a wonderful beach.  The drive over to Llevant was not a long one since the island is small, but it was a wake up call to deal with the crowded parking conditions there, and then to hike from where the car was parked to the beach.  It made the 3 minute walk from the Vogamari apartment to the Migjorn beach seem extra heavenly.

If you are inclined to naturism, the beach as Vogamari is a good choice.  When you walk down the steps from the boardwalk onto the beach, the best thing to do is turn left and go maybe 50 yards.  From that point on the beach will be at least half naturists (at least until the Italian invasion in July and August).  If you turn to the right, you will still find a mix of nudes and textiles, but it will be more predominantly textile.  Also, when you turn to the right, you'll find beach chairs under thatched shades for daily rental.

There are two beach restaurants within easy walking distance of the Vogamari bungalows.  The Vogamari restaurant is immediately before you get to the beach (we've seen other reviews indicating that noise from this restaurant was occasionally bothersome but we didn't find that to the be the case).  This restaurant is usually hopping at both lunch and dinner.  If you walk to the beach and turn right on the boardwalks you'll find the Forodot restaurant, also immediately facing the beach, about 10 easy minutes down the boardwalk.  Both places offer well-prepared beach fare, with a heavy focus on fish.  There are, of course, many other restaurants within a 15 minute drive from Vogamari.

I'd suggest renting a car if staying at Vogamai, although the adventurous could probably make do with a motorbike.  Parking in areas set aside for bungalow residents is convenient.

In short, we really enjoyed our stay and we'll be back.  Please don't compete with us for reservations there!

Simple and Close to Perfect....

Beautiful bungalows on the beach of Migjorn, behind the Vogamari Restaurant. Clean, spacious, quiet and with access to the sea at 100m. Some have also seen mer/midnight (e.g. number 7 and those where there is the reception).

Very nice, excellent location 100 meters from the beach.

Despite the off-season visit (it was a bit cold) we liked the bungalow very much and of course it was also very cheap! The cleaning in the room was not every day but the view from the window is spectacular. The location is convenient both for the beach (at 200 meters from the balcony) and to reach residential centers. Very nice the receptionist who brought us cocktails! I will return here if you find me in Formentera

An incredible environment and very neat and comfortable apartments, unparalleled views, great kindness from the people responsible, it's practically impossible to find a single spot, I hope to repeat... and soon.

This is the second time we have come and reiterate that it is excellent in everything: very good treatment, the simple and tastefully decorated bungalow, a unique location to watch the sunrise on a spectacular beach and a dreamlike sunset.

Disconnection

Easy to book through Asburys, easy travel.
Leave Gatwick early and be on the beach after lunch.
Apartments are small but all you need as most times are spent outside. Car park below is a slight disadvantage but you can still spend all day and walk to the beach au naturel.
Would recommend it to anyone who wants to forget city life for a short while

Great place to get away from it all

The bungalows are close to the beach, without being directly in front of the sea. You get to the beach in 2 minutes. The accommodation is very beautiful, very clean, well equipped, with the necessary comfort. The reception is very friendly, listening to the customers. It is really a nice address to recommend. The price is related to the (exceptional) situation and the quality of the equipment.
