We had two problems here. The first was noise, actually--we had a light room facing the street, and although the street isn't big there is a popular restaurant downstairs on the corner and there were people out (it was nice weather!). But what made the most noise was the flags flapping on the balcony! There are several flags flying, and they flapped very loudly in the wind. I wanted to try to go out and wrap them around their poles, and discovered that I could not go out. The second problem involved leaving our luggage there. Although someone has commented that isn't possible, they kindly agreed to let me leave my backpack there while we went for a walk. I explained I would be back at 1-1:30 pm to pick it up, and checked out, which means I returned my key to the front door. When we arrived back at 1:20 p.m. there was no-one there. We rang the doorbell, called them, even called the emergency mobile number they set up at night, and got no answer. We went to lunch and kept calling, and got no answer. I had to leave Granada without my backpack (lucky for me I had my car keys and house keys with me) and wasn't able to reach them until about 10 p.m. (from my home in Madrid), only to have them tell me that they had said they would be gone after 1 and that they couldn't be expected to wait around for us!! They definitely did NOT indicate they would be closed after 1 pm, could have notified me, etc. And when I asked them how I was supposed to get my backpack they told me to have my friend in Granada pick it up (they knew I had a friend there because she had come to meet me there and we had chatted with them). Really rude, very unacceptable and it of course changed the way I felt about the place!

Clean, decent location, but...

Hostel located next to the bullring, parking on the same street as the hostel in the blue zone. Humble but clean and with windows to the outside in bathrooms and bedrooms. Walking you can go to the center.

 Plaza de toros

An unbeatable location close to everything, a 5-minute walk from the historic city centre and the Plaza de Toros de Granada itself where there are many bars with great tapas and atmosphere. Cleanliness of 10 and very comfortable beds. But most of all, I highlight the kindness of the staff always willing to help you.

It's genius!

Accommodation is good in terms of quality-price.There are rooms with or without bathroom, depending on the price.Both the bedroom and the bathroom (2) are clean.It has no big luxuries.The staff is friendly.The location is quite good, about 25 minutes from the center.

Correcta for a weekend.

The room was humid, there was no toilet paper, the curtain fell alone, and I could not let it go up, I could hear EVERYTHING from the adjacent and upper rooms and the wifi was malfunctioning, so I wouldn't come back for free.

Nothing is recommended.

In the middle of summer, they booked a night (from 2 to 3 October 2017) at the booking. From the morning of 2 October 2017 the receptionist sent them a letter indicating the approximate time of arrival for each event. We go to Granada, we find the hostel easy, we call the home phone - no response. We call the phone - they don't take the phone. The door is open with a proud sign that the reception is from 7 to 0 hours. Okay, the receptionist is also a person - he could go to the bathroom to get away everything, we decided. After 40 minutes of unsuccessful calls to the home phone and on the phone spit and called in support of the booking.

And we didn't get to them.

The services offered are extremely basic - but it's a 'budget deal' - although the team is terribly unfriendly, I give them a towel and they answer that they charge 2€, I ask them if there is a mirror and they almost eat me with their accusing look apparently because of the cold of my petition, if I ask them to please keep a suitcase for an hour you answer that it's impossible because they're going to close the hotel and they don't have space.

Terribly Antipaticos

This small streetfront hotel is very comfortable,cozy and clean.From the balcony of the room, it has a breathtaking view of the snowy mountains.

The place is clean and organized. The staff was helpful, but comparing to other hostels where they give free city maps, this one charges you two euros for them. 

We stayed in a double room with shared bathroom. Both were good, but the heater in the room would stop working during the night, which was not much of a problem, because there were a lot of blankets available. 

The big down side for us, was that the WiFi which was just impossible to use from the room, so we had to work on our computer in the common area next to reception, which was very uncomfortable, since they just had normal "kitchen-like" chairs.

Poor wifi

As with all large cities finding somewhere to park the car is always a problem.  This hotel was conveniently situated not far from the centre.  Parking in the street was only free at lunch time, and between 8pm and 9am.  To overcome this we downloaded the city bus map.  We followed the Doctor Gea to the end, and left up the Avenue de Madrid and again left.  This forks further on - we took the right fork and the road turns into the Avenue Juan Pablo II. The area near the Alcampo supermarket a bit further on from the Trauma hospital has free parking spaces.  We then took the No 3 or 33 (bus stops on the town side of the Av Jean Pablo) to the town centre Via Colon.  The Alhambra has smaller special buses (30 and 34) which drive up the narrow cobbled streets to the top.  After the visit we descended to the Via Colon and took a No.3 or 33 back to the car and fetched it back for the night, leaving the following morning before the charges kicked in. Buses cost 1.20€ or you can buy a card for 5, 10, 20 euros when the rate drops to around 0.80 per trip. Granada public car parks can cost as much as the hotel for the night. Concerning the hotel there were two entrances, one up a staircase to the first floor locked door.  The other via a push button 1a to contact the owner to open the door and take the lift.  Coming back down in the lift the door was locked and as they did not speak English it was hard to work out that there is a switch to unlock the double doors to get out further back along the corridor.  All a bit confusing.  The twin room was small, and clean with shared bathroom along the corridor - all the rooms are on the first floor.  OK for a cheap one or two day visit to Granada.  Good cafe next door for breakfast.  Wifi was available and worked in the lobby - intermittent in the bedroom.
