This past 16/09/2023 I celebrated the silver weddings and only indicate that a 10 to the service, kindness, cleanliness, attention and professionalism of those who attended us, starting with María when we were talking to her, then Fran and all the waiters we dealt with that day. Recommended to celebrate any family, company, etc. etc. event as the professionalism for this type of events is outstanding.

As the perfect wedding venue

When we arrived at the hotel we were given a room that smelled of tobacco, we complained and switched to another room where the exit door didn't close and I could open it alone by pushing it.

The city of Jódar

The hotel has all the amenities, is clean, has a friendly treatment and the rooms are fine. I got a terrace with entrance views. It has a swimming pool that comes very well now in August. The only drawback, although not the same as a 4-star, has been the soundproofing but it's also not an exaggeration. It's a good option if you want to stay in the area.

A good option

Located at the entrance of the population, it has friendly staff, facilities in good condition recently restored, mid-range meats at a good price, plenty of parking in the surroundings and close to a gas station and supermarket Dia

It is functional.

It's a good place to see the city, although it's located on the outskirts and there's a hiking trail, and it's also a good base to see the Magina mountain range and its surroundings, which is only a few miles away by car.

Correct and clean.

Clean and well kept. Beautiful view of the Sierra Magina from rooms with terraces at the back of the hotel. Best connections are by taxi.
Please note there is no swimming pool anymore/currently since party venue space has been extended.

This hotel is terrible, my wife is from Jodar and we went to the fair there for 3 days, my wife, daughter and daughter-in-law. The same bartenders are the ones who attend the reception if they are serving a table or the bar, you have to wait for them to attend to give you the room key, so I chose to take it every day. One afternoon we were taking a nap and find that they were having a meal of something in the dining rooms that are attached to the stairs, the children of their parents and gritos races and so on at 4 o'clock in the morning, tired of the theme I call the reception and the turn-on light tells me that I am a kid, ask the guests to rest professionally and that we are favoring rest.

The worst hotel in the world

I had the misfortune to stay at this place whilst attending to business in Jodar. 
Check in was fine, the receptionist explained breakfast was from 8am every day.
The room has a stale smell, probably from smoke. The shower goes hot and cold which isn't pleasant.
However, the wifi signal was excellent, as was the cleanliness of the entire hotel.
It was the lack of courtesy of the staff which struck me as odd, almost as if they'd prefer me to stay in my room.
I asked to use the pool, if you can get in before or after the kids I recommend it.
The worst was the menu del dia - at 15€ it is more expensive, even than good Hotels in Madrid, so I was expecting a treat.
The food was awful, and the wine undrinkable (first time in Spain). The main course was battered fish and chips with a vegetable-based sauce on top - it reminded me of experimental food of the 80s. I was hugely disappointed, and even felt deceived.
On Monday morning I went down to get breakfast at 8am but was told there was none as the 'waiter hasn't arrived'. I explained I needed to go to work at 8.30.
Needless to say, I cut short my reservation by one night and booked a hotel in Ubeda - you should do the same.
In a nutshell - they think they are doing you a favour by allowing you to stay in their Hotel. Rude, abrupt service and EVERYTHING is too much trouble.
If you have the misfortune to stay here, please eat at the lovely, friendly restaurant across the street.

Avoid this place

The good news is that the hotel is easy to find, clean, and fairly modern. However, the bad news is that the hotel is located in Jodar, which is probably best avoided. The same can be said for the hotel restaurant, which served one of the least edible dinners I have endured in quite some time (even by the, admittedly low, standards of Andalucian cooking). But it was the only restaurant in town where the occupants didn't look like prisoners on day release, which does perhaps stand in its favour.
