Precious location of the Hotel, next to the town square (where scenes from the movie 8 Apellidos Vascos were filmed) The Hostal is very clean and the rooms with buhardilla, very peculiar, the beds are comfortable, ultimately very good stay.

Accommodation on the Via Verde

We spent the night of 7 to 8 March 2020 outdoors, it was 7° and we had no heating in the room. The language spoken was only Spanish. Very disappointed with this heating issue. The restaurant is fine but there is no choice of menu for 17 euros or 30 euros.

Decue

We actually spent two nights in a nightmare, the walls are too thin and the rooms are not soundproofed, also since we went in August we left the windows cracked because otherwise it was too hot in the room. The problem is that our room on the top floor number 3 faced a brewery across the street, and another nearby. We heard talk (crying) until 2 in the night, sorry because the room is very nice and very clean. We had two breakfasts, lunch and dinner, the food is good and cheap, the only new treat we got from the cameraman.

Leave every hope to those who enter

It's a real mountain hotel, dominated by wood, in the heart of a very small (and fiercely Basque) village. Our room was on two levels and the children had a lot of fun climbing the very fast stairs that led to their beds on the top floor. We used this hotel as a base of support to explore San Sebastian and we were happy with our choice.

In the mountains, two steps from the sea!

The room was clean, tidy and quiet. The entrance was very fast, something to be thankful for after such a long journey. The treatment was very friendly from all the people. The breakfast normally, we did not fit the price. We were happy with the visit.

Our tour has eight surnames.

It's more beautiful on the outside than on the inside, where the rooms need a little refurbishment in the decor. Because it's hot, we had to open the window and overheard all the noise of conversations on the street. This is not the responsibility of the hostel, of course. To highlight the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, it was impeccable. Like the personal attention received, it was super friendly. It's a family business and is handled with affection. Fast WiFi and easy connection from the moment of arrival. Always be thankful. The dining room is quite noisy and once you get together with someone, it can even become difficult to keep a conversation going. The food is typical and abundant, nothing special, but well made. To highlight the torches, which I have been given, I say. To highlight the beautiful floor, in honor of the town, where the town centre, where the most beautifully painted rooms can be found, is located.

Treatment is very good, decoration to improve.

A very special, authentic townhouse with a central location in the village. A simple, yet well-located hostel at a very acceptable price. It's a pity I couldn't taste that restaurant. The room doesn't include breakfast. EL Sunday is closed and it's necessary to arrive before 6:00.

A simple place, in a deep and authentic village.

Leiza is a small idyllic mountain village, which nevertheless offers many shopping and restaurants. The hotel is simple and clean, instead of a breakfast buffet you can make your own (in Spanish). Thanks to the good transport links (5 minutes to the highway) is also well suited to explore this corner of the Basque Country (e.g. 30 minutes drive to San Sebastian).

Simple and clean accommodation

Even though it was simple, everything was very clean, the excellent treatment, the perfect duplex room to go with children, the home-cooked and delicious food, these places that no longer remain but are longed for, we will return safely!!!!

It's simple but perfect.

A simple but very cozy and well-kept hostel located in the picturesque town of Leitza, connected by highway to San Sebastian in 30 minutes, and of course, much cheaper.
