Clean, good location, courtyard, room, bed, pillow, everything perfect he was in much worse hotels, very recommended, capsule coffee maker Nespresso a 1€ capsule, bath products available.

The only thing that would stand out about this accommodation would be the excellent location and convenience of the beds and pillows.The rest... super-damaged living room, stripped walls and tables, cafeteria, dirty mirrors and shower, rusty curtains and shower corners, the shower microphone was not working well and so many other things.Not to mention that we haven't changed the towels we used to sleep with and that the day I got out of bed it was full of hair from the previous guests... I called the manager and she fixed it because she came to change the bed.

It's not what it looks like in photos.

The hostel does not match what is shown in the pictures. It is very damaged, not even the image of the bed is like the real one. The walls were dirty and dirty, we found in the plastic bathroom of other tenants, the bed was not at all comfortable although the pillows were. In general the hostel and the room were wet but especially the saunas, it was unbearable. It may be soundproofed on the outside but on the inside you can hear everything that happens in the hallway or rooms. In addition, from our room we could hear the noise of a boiler or similar the night shift. On the other hand, when we arrived we didn't know how to get in, nobody opened and we didn't have instructions to get in, we would contact someone by phone. Respect for the cleanliness there could be no doubt about it, but we could not emphasize that it was a good place to go, even when we could not get in a few days.

I wouldn't go back to this place.

The opinions must be false because we don't understand the ratings at all: a boarding house with a reformed wooden floor that listens to everything, a fairly fair cleaning, dirty walls, saunas with some stains, the worst accommodation we've gone to without a doubt at almost 83€ a night!

An exaggerated price for what it offers.

It's a hostel where you can listen to everything that happens in the adjacent rooms, not if it's a coincidence but the pillows smell of moisture/sweat, which is horrible when looking for a place to rest.

Hot and humid.

This hotel is located in a busy shopping street in Madrid and is ready for all the activities and sights to see in Madrid.

We spent 3 days in Madrid and stayed in this Hostal Meyra, a cozy and clean environment, staff absolutely available to explain the various information about the city, the means of transportation and even the restaurants and bars where to go.

It's perfectly comfortable.

We really did not know what to expect when we booked this place and we were really pleased with what we found. We were initially put off with being called a hostel however we booked based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. This place is a little gem in a great location with very well priced rooms. Rooms are a good size with a comfortable bed, good aircon and a good sized modern bathroom. The place is on a shopping street and you do need to look out for the number 39 above the doorway or you will walk (and continue to) walk right past. Loads of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. We loved the city of Madrid and will definitely stay here when we return again! 

Great little hotel

We stayed just before/while pride 2019 was starting. The guy on reception was friendly and helpful and the rooms wee of a great standard. The shower was roomy and had  decent power, WiFi was easily picked up and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. 2 things I would say to management would be that I prefer to avoid single use plastics - ie glasses in bathrooms and shower gel sachets- would much rather prefer actual glasses and a dispenser for toiletries. Also a bin in the room would be handy. Big plus that every room has a small fridge to keep drinks cool and  the air con works very well.  Overall very impressed 

Great time with friends 

Hotel located at a crossroads of the main road. The street of the hotel is very busy, full of shops. The room is small but comfortable. There is also the frigobar. Excellent cleaning. Comfortable also from the airport. Take metro no. 8 and get down Nuevos Ministerios and then take the 10 and go down to Tribunal. The hotel is located about 400 meters away. The road is pedestrian. It is located on the 4th floor of a building. Breakfast is not available.
