Hostal Benamar is located within walking distance from all of Madrid’s best sights, restaurants and bars. Brilliant!

Room and bathroom is basic and perfectly clean. Wifi works.

Only thing is some noise in the morning (before 8 AM), but all in all Benamar gets a warm recommendation.

Basic clean rooms, brilliant location

I got a big bed but of course no room with balcony. Even worse, the view to a dark courtyard backwards from where strange kitchen smells came up. The room was cold and uncomfortable, in November, freezing cold without heating. I had to ask the owner to make the heating fit. Last but not least, I got a room on the third floor (without a wheelchair).

Very bad never again

What I liked most was its location, very close to the main road, it has a lot of life around, great, very central. The room is comfortable and clean. The finishes are a bit worn out, but good. The problem is if you carry a lot of luggage because there is no elevator. The wifi was intermittent. There is no reception.

 Perfect location.

We spent a weekend together as a family.I was surprised by the silence that existed despite being in the center.Comfortable beds and very clean (super clean).very friendly the owner and attentive.You have at your doorstep trendy bars, shops, crafts, a dream toy store...Nearby there is a parking lot on Barceló Street (just below the back of the hostel park) that if you download the parking app papp (before picking up the car; when you arrive the barrier opens without the need for a ticket) with this app sale for €24 the night of the car hotel.

In the center, quiet, comfortable and clean.

We accommodate 2 adults and a child in a room with a wedding bed and an extra 90 beds. The beds and pillows are comfortable. I highlight their cleanliness and very friendly treatment. Bathroom amenities. Central location (hence the price). Although there is no parking at a 4 minute walk there is one that costs 18 euros a day (you have to carry the ticket with the Benamar seal). Being central and on the weekend exposes you to some other noise, although they have double-crystal windows, for people sleeping light.

We needed to stay in a downtown area and this time we were looking for something cheaper, so one worries about getting along with the area, but a few friends recommended it and insisted that we stay calm. And it was a success, which is what we sometimes ask for when it's a trip to do a pair of things like this in a city. Very clean, a good bed, the basics to feel your needs met at a good price. It also has the Internet. Very downtown and close to two metro lines.

They had recommended it to me and we agreed.

This hostel is located quite centrally and you can walk to the best tourist areas of downtown, the room was with a private bathroom, the mattress very comfortable, it had a small fridge and quite large screen TV, a reasonable price for the area where it is located.

Hostel is quiet and well-connected.

Good price quality for the city of Madrid, clean, hot water and everything you need to sleep well and visit the city, a bit of noise in the street but nothing that you couldn't rest in peace.

Clean and well located

We stayed one night at this hostel because we missed our flight, booked it for the last hour and everything was great, super clean, room wide and with private bathroom, the gentleman who attended us very kindly and the situation very good, very central.

It's clean, centric, and not very expensive.

Since I discovered it a few years ago on the recommendation of a friend, it is a fantastic place in the center of Madrid, nearby metro station, market of Fuencarral, Gran Vía, it is still a good option, the price is adequate, it has no meal service but it is not too important.
