I have a reservation from 31/12/21 to 2/01/22 and on 29/12 my company informs me that I am positive for close contact with a patient (I am a healthcare worker).I call the accommodation, I comment on the situation and my surprise was the answer of the guy who attended me: because it's your problem and my next question is what I have to do then?

There is no empathy.

We stayed in the apartment for 2 nights, we picked it by location, it's next to the highway, full of squares, bars, shops, restaurants, and of course, life, lots of life around, and that implies noise, we were hit by a first floor that looked out to the street, and in front of it was a supermarket with which you can hear everything when you unload merchandise, open the place, etc. And if you pass by people on the street gluing your voices, you can also hear it. Of course if you're looking for luxuries here, you won't get revenge, I wanted the room just to sleep and take a shower, so I don't know why, because I don't have the room, so I'm equipped to get to you and you're ready.

I wouldn't live there but for a short stay.

I felt cheated. The photos that appear in bookings and on the official page do not reflect the reality at all. The old building, lacking maintenance. The department, there was a smell of urine in the street and echoes, one night when I came back I saw a girl singing at 5 meters from the entrance. The area is full of whiskey shops, with women offering company and many pubs so the street is very noisy at night, not by traffic but by people screaming. The old building, lacking maintenance. In the bathroom, with a dead light, without the mirror of the sofa, there were locks, but the living room had to be cleaned up. It's the worst!!!! to avoid it if you do.

We've been sleeping for three nights to visit Madrid. It's located on a street where no one with a family would want to live. Noises, fights, smells, etc. It has a balcony that looks like the street and it's a hell. On Fridays and Saturdays we don't pay attention to the screams and noises of people going out to parties. Thinking that Sunday would be better, we were wrong... right in front of you you have a supermarket Day that starts at 5:00 until 7:00 to unload a truck and drag cars full of food down the street of adoquines. The cleanliness is very fair and the condition of the floor in general is bad.

The worst part...

The main quality of the apartment I rented is that it is located in the center of Madrid, a few meters from the Plaza del Sol.

Great location, comfortable house for two-thirds

Very bad, not what they offer on the internet. annoying neighbors, a lot of noise at night, low light, views of the courtyard with lights. There is no cleaning service as it implies an increase of 40€. the beds are very uncomfortable. Too expensive for what it is.

I regret that I can't make it worse.

The hotel was wonderful experience for our group!  It is located on a side street right off the Gran Via. Within walking distance of many restaurants and Plaza shopping, beautiful doors that open up to balconies overlooking the City.  I would stay there again!

Hotel Cibeles

Highlights: impeccable accommodation, very clean, ideally located near Puerta del Sol Square, nickel bunk, apartment as described. The tenant was waiting for us on arrival. Negative points: - Insonification 0. (rain during our stay, all night the sound of drops flowing from a dropper upstairs on the INFERNAL terrace - Heating (reversible climate) very noisy, forced to turn it off at night. - namely Room Cibeles is not located on Cibeles Square but just 10 steps upwards towards Puerta del Sol Square.

Despite the warm welcome we discovered the sofa ( extra bed ) was full of unadentified stains. The same sofa that next morning had a couple of the wooden mattress holders on the floor. The microwave had to be changed as it was working whenever felt like. Worse was the mauld on the hallway walls and we had to request a bathroom curtain change as the one they had was full of mauld stains as well ( wonder how they did not notice ). The bedroom had a strong smell of sewage whenever the air con was on. Two rolls of toilet paper supplied and new ones for extra cost ( did not ask how much as a DIA supermarket is right opposite ). I guess extra toilet paper add to the cost basis. Extra towels and cleaning at a charge of 40 euro !!! Elevator out of order for two days. At least very central location

Mauld in the walls

Plus:. Convenient location - on the city's central street, near the subway. Entrance directly from the Grand Via. Clean spacious entrance with concierge. Quiet elevator. In the apartments is clean and neat. There is a split-system and TV. A small kitchen corner contains the minimum necessary for cooking - a plate, refrigerator, teapot. The owner is responsive, English-speaking. He allowed to leave suitcases until night time.
