The hostel is very old but everything is quite clean, the location is perfect, a 2-minute walk from the main road, and they have the heater on continuously, which is appreciated given the low temperatures they used to do!

Hostal normalito is the norm.

My points are for the customer's attention.I packed my bags and the receptionist treated me very well and called the ambulance.I also worry about calling me to see how I was doing.I travel alone and she's grateful that you're treated well.

Good attention to the client.

We were booked for 4 people and due to personal problems we were notified with more than 2 weeks before arrival and they did not return the money to us!! They did not want to arrive or even agree if they have left the money with them!! It would be a shame if they passed these things with such a long notice in advance.

I have travelled a lot in many guesthouses and for me it is one of the best guesthouses in every sense that I could be.On arriving at the guesthouse, I was met by Alina, a lady who gave me a spectacular welcome, making me feel like I was at home from the first minute, providing me with all the information I needed and always very kind, friendly and professional.Everything was very clean and quiet the stay of course that when I returned to Madrid I would return here again, quality and price is fabulous the place and the wonderful location.For me it was a stay with a score of 10.

A wonderful guesthouse and perfect location.

Horrible. We booked for two nights, but we ran away after one night. The room looks like a garage without a window. The door is an assembly of four pieces of material that don't fit well, leaving spirals from all corners. There's no closet in the room and it's permeated with a nauseating smell of smoke that you try to cover with an anti-smoking scent diffuser that's just as nauseating. I didn't think there could be a place like this in the center of Madrid.

That's awful.

The hotel's excellent location is 2 minutes from the main road. It is impossible to rest in this hotel, it hears all the noise of the street and it is an area with constant passing people. The mattress was with the docks blown and the sinks. The showers and bathrooms were clean. The heating is set up 24 hours a day.

This opinion is written so that no one will know what happened to a friend and me. We arrived at the boarding house at 1 a.m., when we were asleep and bugs started coming out of the bed and walls. We didn't know what they were, but it looked like a plague. We notified the receptionist and he didn't give us a solution because he had the full room. We had to call other hotels, considering the high weekend occupancy and the hours it was, and we went to a hostel for a face-to-face meeting but in good condition.

It's really bad.

I practically didn't like anything, considering that we paid 80€ a night. - Due to the high demand in Madrid, there was no other option. - The bathroom was shared and in our section there was only one shower for all the rooms, so it is difficult to get it free if the boardroom is more or less full. - The uncomfortable mattress and blanket with bad smell. - The very small, old room and with the TV rotator (the screen and the channels, which could not be seen because they were not tuned well). - The very high heating, headache.

The quality-price ratio is horrible.

Spend two nights just fine, the only thing that's remarkable is that it's perfectly located, needs an urgent renovation, if it's left in the 90s... A small table, a blanket, even a closet! wouldn't be any more... I think the convent rooms have better decoration. The room was next to the reception and the bell and phone ring all the time. Not to mention that the old windows don't insulate anything from the noise and is a busy street, so it's best to raise earplugs, although they're not very well served, I checked it out...

The worst I've ever met, spend a little more...

I chose the enviable location, overlooking almost the Gran Via, in an area rich in premises and people.The staff were very kind and available.The bad notes were, in my opinion, the lack of cleanliness and the presence of a single common bathroom, among others with a semi-transparent glass door.
