If you're looking for a place to sleep, no more, pass by.Although careful in our one-night experience, we've had to endure a noisy group coming home from a party.

JUSTICE is the right thing to do.

It was the worst place I ever had to sleep, out of necessity, since on those Christmas days everything was busy. The photos that promote it don't match with reality, (only at the reception) access to the rooms is only through a staircase full of shit and with a condom dispenser on each floor, so you can imagine the end that rooms are usually rented out to NO tourists.) The dirty rooms, the bathroom with an unbearable odor, the no-key window and the lock. No doubt, between the lamentable state and the location, in a totally marginal and dangerous neighborhood, it has been outrageous to have to spend the night there.

UN HORROR is a horror story.

Small wedding room, no air conditioning, with WiFi, TV and bathroom This hostel is located in a part of the city where there are very rare and potentially dangerous people.

Hostel is very simple.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy accommodation, but clean. Room temperature was ok even in the summer without air conditioning. Short walk to the cathedral and the center. No elevator. No own parking spaces, so you had to temporarily park a little further away. Minor damage, but you can see beyond. The balcony promised when booking was not there (a 10 cm wide, secured chest is not a balcony!).

Simple but clean

I don’t often pick a hostal I don’t like but I got this one wrong !! The location isn’t bad. It’s near the citadel and an easy walk into the town centre -  if you know where you’re going - I got really lost to the point I had to ask a policeman. The area is rather scruffy and it’s a bit scary walking through it at night. The receptionist was very helpful but is only there until early evening and not back until about 10.00 in the morning. The bar also isn’t open until around 10.00 in the morning so not much use if you want breakfast. There’s a nice little cafe at the top of the steps though. 
The hostal was more like an apartment building. You had to let yourself in by the street door, then into your floor area and then into your room. Mine was up two flights of stairs (no lift) and somewhat shabby. It looked out over the square and I suppose it had almost everything you might need apart two rather necessary things - a bedside light  and, much more importantly, air conditioning ; my fault for not reading the description properly. The television and receiver box (perched precariously on top of the tiny television) were connected into a triple socket which hung down below the small rickety table on which the television sat. The plugs kept coming loose so, in the end, I gave up trying to watch it. On top of all that, the neighbours seemed incapable of having a quiet conversation outside so I had a most uncomfortable night. This one wasn’t for me

Very disappointed

The fairness, the fairness, the reasonable price, but they don't offer much either, the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness, the noise of the street, the old TV and the area that doesn't seem very safe, seem to be constantly watching you.

Centric is central.

Ventajas - Well situated - Light - Toallas - Habitación amplia Inconvenientes - No elevator - It seems that people on the street watch you when you enter and sell. - Parking is expensive considering that there is an agreement with the city council (10€/24h)

It's good for spammers.

The pension is mediocre as concerns  facilities.Actually is very basic but it is situated in the old town on a pretty square and in the building itself they have incorporated parts of a medieval tower.It is clean and the staff very helpful.There is also a small bar  and WI-FI.It is the cheapest option in Manresa and it is OK for a short stay.

The only reason I am not giving this my usual five star rating for my budget conscious travel reviews is the price.  If it were 20-25 euros, rather than 35, I would rate it higher.  The address I have is Baixada dels Dalts, 3.  But, judging from the photo, it's the same place.  I drove around in circles for what must have been nearly an hour (following Garmin) before I found it.  The "street" is actually a wide flight of pedestrian steps leading up to a higher level, and the pension, it carries the "P" classification, rather than the H or HR, is kind of on a little sidewalk off the main road right along these steps.  There was some roadside parking on the hill coming down, but they were all taken.  I parked in a nearby square just long enough to check the place out and unload my luggage.  Then they told me to drive down the very narrow street next to the building and continue up hill to a parking area right at the cathedral.  It was after 9PM, and I got a spot.  The pension reception is actually the adjoining bar.  The owners must be Lebanese because a lot of the items on their menu stress Lebanese cuisine.  Both young men with whom I dealt were very pleasant and accommodating.  The room was on the second (our third) floor, and one of them helped me with my stuff.  The room was functional, if a bit cramped, everything was clean.  There was a small TV.  The bathroom was fine, but the hand held shower was the usual pain.  Sufficient towels were provided.  Once I was settled in, I paid at the bar by credit card.  Since I noticed quite a few people eating at the tables, I decided to give it a shot.  I ordered the butifarra combination plate, which included to large patty shaped butifarra, fried potatoes in cubed form, a lillte salad, a dish of olives, a generous baskei of flat bread, and a coke for 8.10 euros.  It was a very good meal.  As I mentioned, the room price was 35 euros.  I am a little behind here on my reviews, but I have since stayed in a four star hotel in Lloret and a three star in L'Estartit, both with better rooms and both with buffet breakfasts, for 29 and 34 euros respectively, so the price is kind of high.
