Welcome and small care service. The housewife is very attentive and wants everything to go well and she is. Lunch is exceptionally good (and cozy if you like). I recommend the small palm trees and the orange juice. Room with balcony and mountain view, it is always nice. Large room. Not much else to say. The cottage is a little noisy during the day but nothing inconvenient. I strongly advise. It's just a matter of finding a restaurant for the evening.

Very nice and very thoughtful

This property is not as described on the website. The garden is neglected and not as in the photos. Jo effort has been made by the owner to help guests with flies - the rooms need netting at the windows to allow a guest the opportunity to open a window and not have dozens of flies come into the room. The drive to the property is extremely steep and should be noted in the description.

Disliked · Shabby, neglected garden. No opportunity to sit on the patio outside as shown on the photos. There is no TV room and games room as described. The owner has made no effort to help guests with the heat - you cannot open a window without dozens of flies coming into the room.

The house is very nice, it is set in a very quiet place with beautiful views, the room very cozy, in detail, the mattress very comfortable. The breakfast is very recommended. The owner makes the stay very pleasant. A perfect place to discover the area.

 Perfect accommodation for touring the area.

We have been to this December bridge and a charm of the place, the rooms, the attention... the very comfortable beds, the abundant and rich breakfast, and the location to see the unbeatable coastline of Biscay.

The stay was wonderful.

We've booked two rooms - very large, the one on the terrace, great and the other with balcony, just as comfortable as the beds and the attention of Carmel.

Nearness and comfort.

We've been like home! carmela and joseba make sure you don't miss anything. the cleanliness is exquisite, the house is like new and very well cared for. the breakfasts are great, varied and abundant, and carmela is the best tourist guide in the area, always willing to help and advise by putting herself in the place of each person and their needs. it was a great stay, we recommend it to couples, families, etc. thanks! we'll be back!!!

An unforgettable experience!!!

I just spent a few days with my husband and I drinking at the house of Goiena and I only have words of gratitude for Karmele and Joseba.The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds super comfortable and the enclave is perfect for visiting several beautiful villages and also to be able to see Bilbao and San Sebastián if you want.If what you are looking for is to disconnect from the city and get to know the Basque Country up close, this is your home.

Acogedora and perfect for disconnecting.

This is the first time we have stayed in a country house and we had our doubts. this trip to the Basque country we had already postponed some time ago and we did not want anything to go wrong. staying at Goiena house has been the best option. the house has a great location to visit the coast and Bilbao that was our goal. special mention for Carmela that has made us feel at home. her attention goes beyond a simple hostess. she is like your mother and your friend with a disposition and love that has stuck in our hearts. the breakfasts are rich and engaging with her thousand and a thousand tips for the journey. without a doubt we will repeat the stay again. thanks a thousand.

An exceptional rural house.

Carmela, the hostess, will make the stay the most enjoyable.She has already forwarded us an email that she will do everything in her power to make the stay the best possible.And she has fully fulfilled it.A quiet, yet well-communicated place, good views from the room and the breakfasts are abundant, varied and of good quality.
