We felt entirely left alone, which was a good thing.  Although there is a common kitchen/sitting room, we didn't use it, preferring to be in our bedroom upstairs or exploring Ripoll. The owner did a marvelous job of preparing the rooms and though it was a bit hard finding it to begin with, it was well worth it!

Lovely

We really liked the apartment. It's comfortable. It has two bedrooms. There's only a closet in one of them. The good location and the charming village. If you eat well and are well taken care of. It's fine the shared kitchen. The only drawback is that you have to climb many stairs.

Rooms in the city centre (one room actually contains two rooms and a bathroom), within walking distance of the monastery and restaurants. If you do not need staff at all times, this accommodation is perfect: large, comfortable and well located.

A good base for hiking in the area

We were pleasantly surprised, starting with the friendly welcome of the owner. The apartments are very comfortable. 4 people sleep well. It is a newly renovated old building, with many modern details. The shared kitchen for the apartments (only has 2) is very well equipped. It is in the pedestrian zone of Ripoll. In the off season there are no problems with parking. There are many nearby blue zones and other white ones a little further away.

An excellent option to visit the Ripollet.

This guest house has not been open long, so it is very modern and clean.  It is a very peaceful place to stay, and with the shutters, it made it possible for me to catch up on lost sleep (managed to sleep about 10 hours per night!).  It is also extremely cosy and perfectly located for nearby restaurants and is a great base for exploring the area.  If you want to self-cater, then there is a fully equipped kitchen, including Nespresso machine.  The guest house also has extremely powerful central heating for those cooler winter months and one of the most powerful showers I have encoutered!  The hosts are also extra-friendly and hospitable as well as being extremely patient with guests with limited Spanish!  I would definitely recommend this guest house and would love to go back there again one day.

Perfect accommodation in the centre of Ripoll

It is a three-story building where the first of them is a kitchen to share between its guests and the next two floors are the ones that are rented out. The place is very cozy and has everything necessary for accommodation. The locations are unbeatable since it is located a two-minute walk from the town square and is also a pedestrian street so there is not much noise. The owner is personally responsible for welcoming and is very attentive. The only negative is that there is no elevator. This can be a problem if it is loaded with a lot of luggage (which was not our case).

It's central and very cozy.

As I put it in the title, it's a good place to stay, perfectly located in the center of Ripoll. It's a house where you rent a floor of the house. Both floors have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen is for sharing. As a negative point, to say that there is no elevator, the stairs are narrow, and we lack chairs and/or a mini table in the bedroom/dressing room.

A great place to visit Ripoll.

A beautiful new bed and breakfast type accomodation in the very heart of Ripoll. We were given a warm welcome and really enjoyed the stay there.
If I had to point out something negative, it would be things related more to its position than the guest house by itself: As it is located in the nearly car-free middle of the small town, in direct vicinity to the famous monastery, it doesn't offer parking, and you will also be hearing the bells of the abbatial church. Which might be a problem if you're not used to it, although I find it kind of charming.
Personally I would love to come back to L'astrolabi.
