We were there this August, the truth is that when you see the reception you want to go, it's pretty disastrous even though the reception lady is nice and does what she can. It's pretty big enough that you should get help because there are only two people to carry everything.The room was dirty and the only good thing is that it's a step away from everything and has parking, also the swimming pool is very warm, there's a cafeteria there's not much good for a good breakfast at a good price.

When you get there, you want to go.

We went on a Saturday, so the price was higher (from 45€ per week to 59€).Reception: To enter the room with the suitcase is already costing for the type of entrance. Fries are fried, dirty, with the leather armchairs ripped. The receptionist, since she did not give us any information about Toledo to visit. And her clothes were not suitable for the reception in a hotel (that you put it to paint at home).

Old, dirty, and careless.

I don't understand how an establishment so well situated, in an incomparable setting and with the beautiful views that can be enjoyed from its rooms, is so outdated and left in the hands of God... The hostel is crying out for a reform and a feminine touch that will make it shine as it deserves.

Reforms are needed.

We booked this hostel because the photos that appeared had a very good quality price. We were with our one-year-old baby. We arrived at the hostel and the door looked a little strange. When we entered it, it was rancid and my husband and I looked at each other with a strange face. The lady who opened the door to us was very careless, dirty clothes and very bad paint. The hostel reception was dirty, paper was drawn, bad smell. When we went to the room with a more careless hallway, we entered the room and the lady there told us that we could use the pool. We loved the pool and the water was green. The bed was dirty, the sauna was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and the floor was dirty.

Hostel is very dirty, not recommended.

We didn't like the hostel at all.Very old as not old, very neglectful of the dirty reception... let's make it look like anything but a reception with shoes in the middle, the receptionist very neglectful of the public face..very loud if you hear everything in the hallway, the TV controls didn't work, the walls were all unlocked and the price...the price ratio quality leaves much to be desired.

One night in Toledo.

We only used the cafe but the owners Julio and  Esperanza are the loveliest people. You can use the pool (the only one in the old town) and in 40c that is heaven. Would be happy to stay here. Give it a visit and enjoy their hospitality.

Lovely place to stop in 40c.

Stayed there for a night. Friendly staff, the food (and the service) at the restaurant near the pool were great too. Good location for exploring Toledo and the pool was great for the kids. There is an underground parking garage nearby which we used. The view from the room overlooking the pool and the river was great too.

We chose this particular hotel based on the reviews that for basic it suited and it included parking (plus reasonably priced considering the exchange rates). We werent disappointed - once we managed to check in!
We travelled to Toledo without knowing what to expect. Although my reading guide advised against taking a car, we were stuck with it! The roads were winding and narrow and we found when pulling up to the hotel the key was to pull over, put your hazard lights on and press the buzzer to get the hosts attention. If this fails, it is a family owned establishment and they also run the bar next door - just pop in there. 
On checking in we found the english was limited when speaking with the sister (though we seemed to be able to understand the basics ie ill take you to the carpark, come back later etc) though the brother spoke and understood basi english. The kids in the complex were extremly friendly and curious even offering to share his churros! Extremly eager to be helpful.
The room was basic but enough. Highly recommend securing a higher floor if nothing else other than the views. As it was winter pool and terrae were obviously not used.
The hotel itself was positioned well, took us 10 mins walk to main squre. At night felt secure walking back. 

Overall recommend unless looking for luxury in a 5 star way.

Great stay!

The Hostel does not open until 2 pm, which left us wandering around for a while until we could get in the room. We had a room for 4 which was more than enough. No complains other than a broken shower holder ring and a cockroach. 

Brill location, close enough to the city centre but not right in the middle (I would avoid staying in the old part of town, it looks extremely noisy at night). 

Overall ok for a budget hostel. But just ok.

Basic but OK

Rooms are small but adequate, stayed 3 nights. Not a lot of customer service in Spain at all, so don't  expect much here either. However, I recommend this for anyone who needs the basics on a budget. The little pool area and attatched café are delightful.
