We have been going to the hotel for about 6years now 3 times year - we love it  staff are lovely .they are like family to us .it’s so good value . Judy and Terry from Sunderland England.Really cannot wait to get back.

Stayed there lots of time

The vote is an average between the pension itself (2) and the apartment that was assigned to me after 3 days in a different area (4). The main sin of the pension, apart from age, is certainly rather poor cleaning, despite this, all the rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning and some a balcony. The apartment was further away from the sea, closer to the train but certainly much more modern (years 2000) and equipped (bathroom shower box).

When you spend little, you don 't ask for much.

This is within walking distance of the town centre.  We have stayed here twice.  We were very lucky to get an apartment across the road from the hostel which is a one bedroom spacious apartment with a bathroom with bath and shower attachment.  The living area is open plan with a kitchen/diner and washing machine.  A veranda overlooks an office block but a sea view to the left is in the distance.  Very quiet apartment.

Great little hostel

I read the reviews before coming here. So far all has been OK a nice sleep and a good shower in the morning,a lot of people still don't get it that if you want luxury you pay a lot for it.
I have traveled a lot in Asia and for a backpacker type this is all I need.I have no TV here, Wi Fi is good,I don't spend a lot of time in my room. 
For a solo traveller who wants basics this is fine.
Not that far from the beach about 15 minutes The town center is  5 minutes. The only thing I would say to improve on  here is a hook for the shower on the wall.

I got what I paid for.

INSTALLATIONS: They will be roasting the century, no renovation, everything super old but clean. Below is a bar and the smell of cheese was very strong, although in the rooms there was no oil. Habitat: Large, old but clean. The bed of muddy muds sunk in the center, the slender pillows, impossible to sleep on. The bathroom water was to graduate the cold Yamos. Seeks everything from the street and has no persianas. PERSONAL: The owner loves to receive us in all ways and everything. In short, we slept together in a porch and there was nothing impossible to find in the city. There was nothing more economical in the city at night than 60 pillows.

Although we never stayed in this hostel my twin brother Stephen and I visited the bar which is cool.
It's a nice bar,eclectic decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside on their cool patio.
We were here on a roasting hot Sunday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who served us a  brandy each,we sat outside were we just chilled out and soaked up the sun while sipping our brandy's. 
Can't comment on the hostel,its location is  nice but the bar is really good. 
Easy to locate on Avenida Palma De Mallorca.
Well worth checking out if your in the area. 

Never stayed in hostel but love the bar.

I see dark interests in all those opinions denigrating or lying maliciously about this great hotel, surely they will not know its history, hence the few scores and I say badly interested. It is an emblematic place of Torremolinos, by history and by location. The treatment of the family that governs it is spectacular and they open their house as if it were another. Paco, Pepita, gaby and José are the best of this emblematic site. The price is unbeatable, the views, the comfort, the public cafeteria, the dining room, the terrace, an immense garden, everything is ten. I invite anyone to visit this wonderful place.

I booked for 16 days four weeks before arriving. When I got there they were fully booked and decided to offer me three alternative accommodations they had control of but which were not the hotel. We refused the first one because it was only being offered for three days. The second one we accepted in desperation after fifteen hours travel. It was located on top of the railway, had at least eight wild cats all over the premises and was in a terrible state of repair. Four workers were housed there and they caused massive disruption at 0600 every morning. The third offering was a third floor flat which thought quieter and larger and offering the basic facilities we paid for was completely unkempt and filthy with damaged electrical sockets in the bathroom and had not been cleaned for a very long time. I strongly advise anyone not accommodated in the main Hotel to decline every other offer. If anyone wants full photographic evidence in addition to what is posted here then mail me.

The worst booking in 33 years of travel

We got a nice room with balcony, bath, WiFi and air conditioning. The owners are really nice and friendly people. It's less then 5 minutes walk to the Centre and about 10 minutes walk to the beach. Around the hotel are lots of bars and restaurants. Beds are fine and clean and rooms get cleaned every day. Will definitely go back here when We go to Torremolinos

room crawling with ants, terrible stench of urine, decor disgusting, overall not a nice place. heard since that this hostal has other rooms available across road, you will always be offered dingy rooms first, refuse & ask for other rooms.
