Gorgeous villa with fun facilities: small swimming pool, billiard table, chess table etc - perfect for intimate nights in. We had a very nice bedroom - all modern but with traditional design. 
Super nice staff, very helpful and accommodating, and very welcoming. They have the cutest 2 dogs that would make friends with you very quickly...
Great food - the couple make their own organic olive oil to accompany the meals. 
Lovely nature around - we enjoyed going for hikes and exploring the area. Close to Malaga, Marbella, and other interesting villages / sights recommended by our hosts.

Be careful when driving with a GPS - as we got lost in the dark and it took us about an extra hour to find the place. Coming from Seville airport, make sure you research the route first and don't follow the GPS.
Also, if you are more interested in going out in the evenings, this might not be the best option for you, unless you are willing to drive quite a long way in the dark.

Amazing break in the country side, super relaxing and pampering

Antonio and Carmen had a wonderful time with us. Their finca is really great, a beautiful pool, a unique view, and a wonderful dinner in a beautiful atmosphere. The breakfast was also excellent. Antonio provided us with map material for our next destination. We felt wonderfully relaxed in a wonderful environment and will come back.

Typical country living in Spain

I can't help but summarize the excellent opinions of the other guests. The experience is magnificent. An excellent place to rest and unwind. El Cortijo is cozy and very charming. The rooms are beautiful, gentlemanly, comfortable bed, very spacious bathroom... Its owners, Carmen and Antonio, are great, very friendly and friendly. The breakfast is exquisite. They have gluten-free and lactose-free options. To repeat the experience, without a doubt.

This accommodation is located in the heart of a beautiful nature surrounded by olive trees. Perfect for a few days of relaxation, the pool with its views is a dream. But it is also suitable as a longer stay for day trips to many attractive destinations in the area (Granada, El Torcal, Antequera, Ronda, Cordoba,...) You are about 10 minutes by the motorway, about 15 minutes in the nearest smaller town. Ideal also as a starting point for the airport in Malaga. The food is excellent, prepared with a lot of love and very high quality. Friendliness, cleanliness, service, everything excellent. Anyone who wants to give something very special should spend a few days here.

When you first come to the unpaved, dusty culinary road of Villanueva Rosario, where the very sympathetic spouses Carmen and Antonio are all the more proud - and as far as the eye can see, there are no more than olive trees, olives, olives - you are expected to meet for the first time at such a wonderful property as the Cortijo Canada Sacristan. A small, white and yellow-colored farmhouse, which is the pride of its owners, the most sympathetic husbands Carmen and Antonio Rosario. A magnificent country house, where every detail is taken care of. It is a place to rest, breathe, and forget everything, in a cozy and charming atmosphere. The pool, a small, tonic-like luxury. The great breakfasts (the tomatoes, the happy chicken eggs....!).

Rest in a privileged location.

Antonio and Carmen have created a wonderful relaxing property in the middle of nature, but not far from places like Malaga, Granada, Cordoba. We think it is especially a great place for couples exploring that part of Andalusia by daytrips and combining it with regenerating hours on their sunbeds with pool. We felt at home for our five nights stay. The dinner offered is excellent, and dont miss their own organic olive oil. Thanks a lot to you both and your team for your hospitality.


Wonderful relaxing place to discover Andalusia

This is a very special, welcoming and beautiful place to stay. Only 4 rooms, adults only, and peace, perfect peace. Antonio and Carmen are gentle, welcoming hosts, providing gorgeous food for breakfast and for dinner. They produce their own, delicious olive oil, and care deeply about the environment they are so involved with. We stayed in the double superior room overlooking the garden. it was huge and extremely comfortable, with an excellent bathroom. The pool is small, but very pretty and circular! Views from the breakfast / evening meal terrace over to the mountains are lovely. Easy access to Granada and the coast, and the amazing El Torcal national park. We would love to return. Hugely recommended.

Idyllic peaceful retreat, centrally located.

The welcome, the quality of the room, and the standard of the cooking were more than enough to make up for the awful weather we experienced. We would have liked to try the pool, but this was our only regret. Antonio is planning a career change in 2017 - visit now while you still can!
