These people are slandering me, lying about me, I am very upset about it, I don't take kindly to liars, I want a refund right now as I booked a 7 night stay for December and they canceled it and kept my money..on my prior stay in November 2023, I paid $100 a night approximately- and they allowed homeless people to sleep in the lobby, allowed non-guests in the facility to used the kitchen and and make coffee, they never told me there was free breakfast, I was polite and spoke to no one. I was there working on my projects of music and my book...I made this booking recently-as no employee told me I was 'blacklisted', I tend to walk around with an unlit cigar in my mouth, perhaps this has been misconstrued -by haters of freedom, I have seen this Stazi type behavior before in other 'no smoking' establishments where just the sight of tobacco is a problem. I want a refund to, the money in my account... as this is a wrongdoing by this hostel

Liars

Very welcome, I stayed two nights with a friend, we had a nice room with very clean toilets on the pallet, the opportunity to cook her meal in the common kitchen and eat with the other travelers, a nice time to share.

Very good accommodation

I stayed in a single-bed room on a short stay. The place is nice and clean but very hot during summer. Only a small electric fan and two small lamps.  Only two power outlets so bring your own power extension cord if you don't want to unplug the fan to use the laptop. Busy mornings so if your room is at the front, garbage and other maintenance trucks wake you up from 6:00 am, which is okay if you have to get ready early yourself.

I didn't get to go because they were lying and unpleasant. I went to their website to book, a website that was pretty badly crafted. I made a reservation for 2 months later because it specified that all the money would be returned. 2 hours later I changed my mind because I didn't like the reviews of their hostel, and 2 hours later and less than 2 months later, they're left with 7 euros. I told them in a second email that that didn't put it on their website and that they were lying. That would make a negative review for their attitude. Their objection, that even if I was the president of the United States, I would receive nothing. In short, I understand the criticisms.

Antibiotics and a bad hostel.

I stayed in this place because a friend of mine has reserved it for me  by the time I can go to the airport and take my flight back home. 

Please stay away! I would not pay a single penny for staying in that horrible place. 

The atmosphere resembles a jail. The reception treats the people inside like they should be happy to have some place to sleep. The items in the hotel are broken - sofa, bedsheets, sink... :-( 

I really had such a bad impression because knowing the price it really was not worth it at all. I had to check in in two - three rooms until the bedsheets where not dirty and still I found dirt on them and even on the walls. :-( the sink was broken and so all the water stayed inside. I never ever had such a horrible experience staying in any hotel in the past. Make yourself a favor and never book this!!! 👎🏽

Stay a way from this horror!!

A very good service, very well located and very quickly accessible. Quality price that is worth a visit after a night of lions. The extra room in the basement is a very good plus that is pleasant to spend a moment of sharing.

Hostel very well located very good quality price ratio we had a room for 3 perfect for a short stay toilet and shower on the floor staff at the top thank you Vivian for her accommodation we will come back

Night from 31 July to 1 August

On April 4th, I cancelled my booking due to cancellation of flights for all known reasons related to the pandemic. When I booked, a deposit of only $135 was paid. Immediately after cancelling my booking, a letter came from Hostelworld.com saying that the money would be returned no later than 10 bank days. When my deadline expired, I sent an email to Hostelworld.com again about not receiving funds. In response I received a standard reply about the large number of requests coming in, and that I can see in my own eyes in the near future.

No deposit returned by City Hostel Geneva

A very well located hostel, a five-minute walk from Geneva's main train station, also has a tram stop nearby.On arrival, as in all hotels in the city, you are given a free pass to travel by free public transport for 15 days.The rooms are very simple but are quite clean and the beds are very comfortable, we do not use them but it has facilities to cook and eat with other travelers.The price is economical for the high result of accommodation in the city.
