The easy Room

The room is small, old, ugly and smelly. The cabin has other rooms and so we changed accommodation. The new room was definitely better. The staff was available even though some doubts about whether the only free room was the most expensive came to me!

And this is the second time I've been, and I'm feeling really good.

Ideal for relaxing

We stayed here for two nights. It's a little out of the way, but at affordable prices for the area. Clean room, but a little small and old, would require upgrades. Another problem is that the room is located adjacent to the kitchen and the area where you can have lunch and dinner, resulting in smells and noises.

Clean but sparse

The cheapest room we've found in Switzerland. The room is simple, includes a bathroom and a small fridge. But the smell of locked up is really unpleasant. Even though it's not mentioned in the description, we managed to capture the hotel's wifi.

Perfect for relaxing.

Great location overlooking the lake, beautiful gardens and a nice swimming pool. By far the cheapest accommodation I could find in Switzerland. Rooms were very basic but clean with private bathroom and fridge. 

Be prepared that these are extremely basic rooms - more similar to rooms I have stayed in whilst backpacking India than a hotel in Europe.

Cheap as chips but very basic

The next time I slept on the street. I was in the Easy Room, or rather, I tried to stay there as little as possible. Okay, they warned us that it wasn't a five-star room, but the price I paid is not at all justifiable (62.- per night accommodation fee excluded:D). In that room there are no essential services, not even a towel per head (we were in two), a stench of nauseating candlestick in the bathroom, used in industrial quantities, perhaps to camouflage some other unpleasant odor, a 15-inch cathode tube TV with a channel on 39 visible, and spiders in many places.
