Despite we were on the top floor (5th) without lift, we really enjoyed this cute small place.
Our room was clean, big enough and with a great WiFi connection as well good amenities such a medium size fridge and an hair dryer. No kettle which is the missing thing but you can get some chilled and hot water before to access to the stairs.
Colours of the room and in general are a kind of hip between grey, black with some touches of red.

Good value for money and we will be back.

We did like it

The rooms were better than the ones in the photos. The host is very nice and meets your every wish. For breakfast we also got regional specialties every time, even though there was no breakfast. I can recommend this accommodation 100%.

Super hostel, very nice host

We wanted somewhere to stay in Bangkok just to rest our head and drop our bags. We had a simple private room which was everything we expected for our budget, simple bed and private bathroom. 

Positives- location is great close walking distance to both Sala Daeng BTS and Silom MRT. Patong market over the street and 3x 7 elevens on each block close by. In the morning during rush over the hostel is surrounded by food street vendors. Nick the host is fabulous, we were in Bangkok for a short time and he helped us with our itinerary. We also had some issues booking our boat to Koh Lanta and he sorted it all out for us which we were very grateful for. The hostel has a shared kitchen and also offers tea and coffee. 

Negatives - no real negatives as such but might help other people which their choice: The mattress is quite hard but didnt bother us as we were exhausted from our journey. The private bathroom is small but again, what you would expect for the price. The double room is basic but if you are looking for something a bit more then would be worth upgrading to one of the other private rooms. Our room only had a small window so had very little natural light which could be a problem if you are someone who likes the mirror (lucky I’m not!) so then again would be worth upgrading to one of the rooms with the balcony. 

We would recommend this place as a base which is all you need in Bangkok  and would definitely look to stay here again in the future. 

Perfect budget place to stay 

The best hostel I've ever been to in Bangkok! I was annoyed that I discovered it so late. The owner is super nice and dedicated. He takes care of everything and welcomes you really warmly:) The double rooms are top quality! Good equipment and totally clean. The whole hostel itself is also super clean and beautifully arranged! I would book again immediately:)

That's perfect.

This place is fantastic! Clean, very comfortable rooms (I've been staying in a private room), fridge, tv, good a/c, great value for money in BKK better than most hotels and definitely a better value than other hostels at double the price for a single room. I have been to Bangkok many times and have often stayed in hotels, I don't think I'll look anywhere else but here. One downside is it is a few short stops on the bts (5 minutes walking) from nightlife, but hardly out of the way, can walk to patpong, but it's not a place for me!

The lounge area is small, the staff are accommodating, they make me coffee every morning, they ensure I have clean towels, they are just all around friendly and non intrusive. I really love C40 winks, keep up the great work.

Welcoming, comfortable, quiet, great value

Hostel located in the heart of Bangkok, in the Simon area (very close to Pat Pong Market). Excellent quality compromise price: rooms are small but clean and the facility very new. Staff is available.

Accommodation in BKK

I stayed in this hostel for two nights in March 201. Central location, but sheltered from the chaos of Bangkok. Close to the BTS which gives you convenient access to the main attractions of the city. The rooms are just like in the pictures, small size but perfect for those who have to stay in Bangkok for a few days and especially for those who don't have many demands.

Good location.

At the end of my stay in Thailand I had booked this hostel which was also praised by the other positive reviews. When I arrived I found out that the stable doesn't have the elevator and bringing the luggage back to the 4th floor was a real nightmare, accompanied by the strange request/norm to wear a pair of napkins provided by them and park their shoes at the entrance. Imagine climbing the stairs in napkins and with the suitcases full for 4 floors... Each floor has three rooms: a bathroom, a two-room with bathroom and a room with castle beds of 6 seats without bathroom.

Staying only in an emergency

The title summarizes the atmosphere of the private room, but it should be detailed so that everyone can get an idea: The size: extremely small The overall color: jet black The window: small, on the side, and overlooks a wall (yes, in the hotel photos the window is large, but the room we had had had a small window) The bathroom: small, not convenient and difficult to access since the door is difficult to maneuver And as a guest: a basin to place under the sink or under the night to sponge the leak The story: we had booked for 2 nights, we preferred this place after the first one.

Gai like a prison!!!

Small hostel located in the area of Silom. The structure is new and beautifully furnished in a modern way, care for the details, clean rooms, kind staff, good prices. At the reception a large comfortable TV sofas and a wide selection of movies make you feel at home. Super recommended!
