This resort has not been maintained for over 20 years, so the state of much of the resort lighting,cleanliness,hygiene,kitchens needs to be imporved.

The shower unit has open electric wires next to the shower head ! ! ! 

There was rubbish everywhere, plastic air conditioning unit next to me room,plastic bottles bags,strewn around the resort, gardens over grown and full of mosquitos which easily made their way into rooms & showers.

When bringing this too the staff their English was too poor and their lack of interest low.

This resort is not in White Sands (3Km away) the busy part of the Island so the address on the web site is miss-leading to say the least.

This a poor resort that needs closing and renovating.

Dangerous To Stay Here

The pictures shown were from many years ago. Everything was so old, reception, pool, sea view room, door lock, garden, beach chair, holes in the room. We managed to cancel our booking and change the hotel. The restaurant is not operated anymore. A lot of garbage around the area and it's not clean much in the room. Lots of mosquitos and flies. The staff were helpful.

Terrible, poor maintenance

The feeling of living in the jungle is exceptional. The feeling of living in the jungle, while on the sea shore, in a real bungalow with a straw roof, all made of wood and stone, around a strange beautiful garden, palm trees with coconuts. The sea is incredibly clear, the beach is sandy, swimming and walking down the river is easy and pleasant. The beach is individual, around no one, a real relaxation. The morning is just stunning, charging, yoga is right in the sea under the sound of waves, silence!!! The atmosphere of a real sea rest. The houses are clean, neat, made with taste and spirit, the resort is certainly not always rented until tomorrow, but it doesn't make it a bad place to stay.

Authentic private vacation on the beach

I was kinda skeptical when I read all the reviews of this place but heck - I booked it anyways. 
We stayed in the seaview room. It was big enough for a double size bed with a little space to walk around and a washroom. 
It was small and simple. 
The only thing I would say was that we came for nye so the price was a little high. 

The garden and restaurant were full of beautiful lush plants. Its a little away from white sand beach but it we didnt need to go out partying. 
There are roosters in the morning that wakes you up and a bar across the street that plays music till about midnight. So light sleepers beware. I sleep like a log so I was fine. 
There was free WiFi and breakfast. 
Thai congee or american breakfast with unlimited juice, coffee and tea. 

There were only two staff who speaks English. 

We also had dinner there twice and the fried fish was delicious. 

We had a wonderful stay - the only thing was the price during nye.

Peaceful and serene

We came for a week end in Koh Chang and booked a beach front room for 2 nights.
The room is over price! Even though we had a see view, the room was still very small and the bed mattress was not comfy at all.
We did not have choice for breakfast but only an american breakfast style even though there was a list with many options. 
The service is so so.
