Good value for money, good food/fresh bagels in the restaurant below. Decent coffee, shakes, hot drinks and ice creams. 
Excellent location, 1 minute walk to 711 and family mart, good market close by, massage shops next door, restaurants everywhere. Beds are comfy, rooms have fridges and a safe and quiet AC. I had no encounters with mosquitos. Shower was alright/hot water. I stayed in the single room and it was pretty decent as I didn't really spend much time in the room.

Good value for money great location and restaurant

Do not stay here! The owner is plain rude and if you have any problems he does not care and will tell you to get out and leave when you have already paid. I have been to thailand more times then I can count and never come across a more arrogant rude owner in my life. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere were they actually care about their guests. Wouldnt stay here again if you paid me!!! BEWARE BOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

We only spent there a night in the city guesthouse. And although at a first sight I wasn't sure, the room was really nice and comfortable with air-conditioner and even the bathroom was clean, the bed was really comfortable and the sheets were nice and clean! We also had a coffee in the bar which was very good and the food seemed good! 

Very clean room! 

I stayed for 6 days there. The place is not easy to find as the first floor is a restaurant, which turned to be the reception as well. The rooms are good size, nice and clean, with air conditioner, fridge, safe and cable tv (old CRT TV). The staff and the host Mike are very polite and helpful.
If you have a motorbike the soi is very narrow and the parking space is limited in front of the hotel, and you may need to leave your bike unlocked so it can be moved around, but apparently is very safe around.
There is a bar nearby which can be noisy sometimes up to 2am.

Top location at reasonable price

We had a great stay here for one night. Comfortable, clean, great AC. Appealing room with good natural light, but quiet for a great night's sleep. Located on one of the best streets in Thongsala, and within walking distance from the pier. 

The one weird thing is that most of the photos on TripAdvisor don't match the actual guesthouse that we stayed in? The main picture of a little thatch hut, for example--we didn't see that. But perhaps the Inn has another property by the same name? Or it's a different part of the building that we never saw? Either way, makes little difference as the stay was great. Friendly management, even let us check out a little late so we could spend some extra time at the beach. We had a hell of a time finding good accommodations (for a decent price) on Koh Phangan. This Inn was really nice, especially for the low cost. Would stay again. 

All Around Great 

We only stayed here for one night before getting the boat to Ko Samui. It is conveniently situated a 5 minute walk from the pier as well as a 1 minute walk to the Thong Sala night market. The room was clean and beds were extremely comfortable, room came with a fridge and air con. 
Discount for breakfast at A's famous restaurant below which we didn't have bit smelt great. The staff were very nice and helpful and spoke very good English, even going out of his way to help us get a taxi. 

Short stay next to the pier 

I booked this hotel for a day because early in the morning you had to go to the mainland. The reviews on all the websites are great, the location is about 300 meters from the dock, the room is clean, cozy, everything is done with intelligence - what else is needed? But closer to the evening, when I came back to the hotel and opened the room, where it was like a parish, I realized that it would be very problematic to sleep in such a creepy air with a fan... but the main thing is that sitting on the bed, I suddenly saw a clamp crawling on a white sheet... Okay, I destroyed it... Then I did the second, then the third, then the fourth... this was a gift! Here I finally disappeared into the building and I had to bring my lights back to the house... so God, I didn't have to turn on the lights, but then I had to turn on the lights, and then I had to turn on the lights, and then I had to turn on the lights, and then I had to turn on the lights, and then I had to turn on the lights, and then I had

Smells and pests...

The cheapest way to book is through Sawadee. The room is comfortable. They asked for a teapot or hot water in their coffee shop. They refused. The bathroom is Thai style: if you showered, the whole room is swimming and you can't get to the sink or toilet with your feet dry:), the shops are very dense, many cabinets, the room was very quiet, although the market and the busy road are nearby.

cheap and in the heart of Pangan

We were able to stay there for only one night (because it was full), but we really enjoyed staying in this hotel very well maintained by the manager. Very shy welcome at first, our room (No. 4) was very pleasant and quiet, spacious, two simple beds, hot water...for a very reasonable price. The hotel very close to the footport (after the round point it is the first one on the right) is the same establishment as the restaurant A's Famous, so address the restaurant when you arrive, the rooms are above.

Very well maintained

For one night, the hotel is ideally located next to the harbor. I had taken care to warn the manager of our risk of late arrival, he was very present when we arrived and listened to it. The rooms are very clean, clean and quiet, nothing to blame, I will return without hesitation.
