Beautiful hotel with very helpful and friendly staff treated by two young ladies on arrival an they couldn't of been more helpful .located right on the beach. Rooms were lovely cosey and modern with tv kettle fridge also in the room lovely balcony seating area all in all I would definatly stay here again and would highly recommend 

Great location 

Small issue on arrival, as we were being pressed to pay for the room immediately. However, their EPOS car reader would not connect and so after several goes, we persuade the girl on reception that we would pay later and it was reluctantly accepted. We found out later, this new policy was being implemented along with other changes, by the new management.

Room was one we had stayed in before and was just as good as before and (at that time) unchanged (Garden Room No.1). It was still possible to take a sunbed at no charge and to get waiter service for refreshments on the beach. 

When we visited, the restaurant - now called Big Meze - was still using the menu we had previously enjoyed and breakfast was available earlier than is now being reported. During our stay, they were changing out the dining area furnishings and it seems the changes to the menu I was fearing, have come to pass since then.

We have stayed here on a few occasions, but I think we will probably be looking for another option for visits to Akyaka now. It's a shame when new management throw out the good with the bad - not that there was much bad previously.

Enjoyed our stay but ....

The hotel is ok cleaning staff very friendly and efficient. The reception side you have to go to the restaurant quite often for service. The breakfast is confusing with fried egg and chips in your Turkish breakfast! Ask for something else! Breakfast is from 9-12. If you arrive at 9.00 am the floors are still being cleaned around you. Hum!
Its menu is now fast food with chips on everything.. We cannot comment and went to the traditional restaurants in town. Just not our taste.. The service needs training.

Stayed here last year and we liked it so much we returned for 6 nights. 

Management of the Hotel and restaurant changed around 2 months ago, we noticed a big difference. The room, view, sunbeds and cleaning were still the same, so very good. The restaurant has plunged downmarket, now serving chips with everything fast food. Breakfast a huge disappointment, I have reviewed this in restaurant section.

Last year I felt that I was eating in a really good restaurant in the best place in Akyaka, good food and good service. This time when we came down to breakfast (after 9 am now) chaos reigned most mornings. Sweeping, mopping, setting up tables going on all round. Our breakfast seemed the least of their concerns. 

Although last year English was not really spoken, we managed to communicate well with Bora and the staff were all friendly. This year the waiters are all new and seem completely disorganised, they didn't have time for us.

We will not be returning.

New management...dive in standards

Our stay here was perfect. The hotel is right on the beach within 5 minutes walk of the river and boats (from 10lira per person for 30 minute river trip). The staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble.We had the choice of Turkish or English breakfast (included) which is a nice change for winter in turkey. Drinks and food prices average and the food was delicious ( i especially recommend the penne chicken). there are 2 ground floor rooms with only a couple of steps which were suitable for our mobility needs and Justine went out of her way to send me photographs of this to make sure it would be ok. There are rooms which offer sea view which must be lovely too. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Can`t recommend highly enough.

Superb

Akyaca is a quiet place without a huge crowd of tourists. The main concentration is Turkish from the nearby Mughals. A good beach with sand. The depth rises very slowly, even at buffaloes a maximum of 1.5 meters - you can have fun with the children in the warm sun. Paid Turkish breakfasts are very tasty with freshly baked bread. In restaurants around the price is adequate: breakfast is 13 liras per person. Dinner with kebabs and wine is also cheap.

A quiet little hotel in a Turkish village

The hotel is quite small, but it has the advantage of being right on the beach. Our room was OK only the location was not so nice. It was on the ground floor and had the terrace to the street. The terrace was full of consideration because it was quite dark in the room. The upper rooms have an advantage there. The fruit floor is also good and was very tasty. You can also recommend the dishes in the restaurant. The beds on the beach were reserved by the hotel staff for a reservation and filled with hotel's own facilities. Recommended!

Nice little beach hotel.

A very nice little hotel with a very good restaurant right on the beach in Gökova Bay. Our upstairs room had a fantastic view over the bay, a beautiful balcony, everything very clean and tasty with good friendly service. So there was the possibility of cooking coffee or tea yourself in the room. The restaurant with very tasty food, a rich breakfast with a view directly to the sea. It is only to be recommended.

It's dreamy

...directly on the beach of Akyaka. The rooms are small but well furnished - for example, there is a refrigerator. Fast internet access via Wi-Fi is free. The breakfast is rich: there is jam, honey, four different types of cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, green and black olives and more. The (evening) meal at the restaurant is very good and cheap, so absolutely recommended!

It's a nice little hotel.

Our group of 6 people was recommended to the Hotel & Restaurant, after a short look at the menu and the location was already booked. In the suburbs we were always taken care of by hardworking staff and the food was often better than the local restaurants in Vienna. Even the breakfast we could choose more or less freely. The hotel rooms are well equipped, until midnight, unfortunately in our time, a live band played every day in the neighboring bar, which was not a problem for us, as we did not go to bed before 24 hours anyway.
