It was nice and quaint and had a nice old-world charm. 

The breakfast was the highlight of the days that I spent there, the person making the breakfast even though she could not speak any English (used google translate) made it magical. Each day had quite a spread. 

The room was comfortable and clean. I had a big room and a smallish toilet and my friend who was in the other room had the opposite. 

Very silent and calm during the day. In the evenings you can just step out and you are in the middle of all the pubs, clubs, and restaurants in the lanes starting with one right next door. I think that adds to the charm of the place. Also makes your evenings fun to just walk around and be in what I think is the heart of the city at night.

You can't drive up to the door, which means if you have heavy luggage you will need to drag it down a few paths which are a mix of cobblestones and concrete, so getting in and out would be a problem, and also carrying your things up a flight of stairs if you take the rooms upstairs. 

Another thing (again not so problematic) is finding your way to the place, I had reached quite late in the night and was right outside the place (using google maps & asking a few people passing by) but couldn't recognize it in the dark, the sign was partially covered with creepers. You will have to ring the bell to get in.

The other worry (which did not bother me at all, but could be a problem for a few) is that this is in the heart of all the pubs and clubs next door, so there will be soft thumping of music till 1:30 am every day and maybe the occasional noise of the people leaving. If you are a light sleeper and need to go to bed early might want to consider this.

Quaint and lovely

I have stayed 2 nights at the property. Room was soo good and breakfast was great. Staff is frendly and helpfull.
I can recomment to everyone. Location was perfect. It is near to everywhere, restaurants and place to visit...

Great Accomodation

We stayed in room #1 for 4 days. The staff could not figure out how to serve two people. Which means two towels & proper toilet paper restocking.Additionally, morning breakfast was never offered to us so we have not tried it at the hotel. Milk was also not available. The employee Ayse had to lock up and go to a nearby market to buy me milk every morning for my coffee/tea. The shower in the room is not sealed well, the water floods the main bedroom leaving all carpets soaked. The hotel is located in a food location but along with this there is a lot of outside noise. The shutters on the windows have gaps and the antique drapes so no justice. Waking up at the crack of dawn with the sun shining right in our eyes was no good. The "shared" courtyard area is also loud in the mornings you can see and hear the guests through the cracks in the shutters. The wooden floor boards in the room above us creaked and woke us up a lot. When I met the owner and told her about our complaints she said that she just handed the key over and sold Cicekli Konak to a new owner. Seems like we were staying here during a transition period when no one cared about service or customers.

Disappointed with service

I agree with all the previous words: it is a romantic cosy place, lovely rooms with French interior, super friendly and helpful staff, a good breakfast, BUT - and this of course because it is so centrally located in the mid of the old city - it can be noisy and loud. I needed ear plugs to sleep due to loud live music next door(s) and the occasional motor cycle jamming through the small streets, also you hear people on the street talk even.

Nevertheless I can recommend the place and would stay here again, you can reach most places in Antakya in a short walk.

Cosy, relaxed and noisy

Great host and well preserved antique place. Total 6 rooms were there and almost all full. Surprisingly mostly rooms had girls staying. It was family friendly as well. If you are looking for something more modern with luxury facilities then it is not the place for you but it is great for old town experience. Everything like bars, restaurants, shesha places etc are nearby and all are well preserved. Streets had very good old town look. Crowd and people were amazing. Full of tourists as well. If you are visiting Antakya, only good place to stay is old town. All happening place.

Well preserved antique house

This Charming hotel is in the city center,and very accessible with a very good service. The employees are also welcoming. The breakfast is well prepared and tasty. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you

Çiçekli konak is a pleasant boutique hotel in Antakya. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. You can feel yourself at home since the hotel provides privacy and have a sincere environment. Especially Cemre, the face of Çiçekli Konak, is very kind and rushes for help with his medicines even when it is midnight and you go down like ninepins. Also, morning conversations with Mrs.Ayşe is motivating and fun when starting the day. So, if you want to relax and feel secure in Antakya, you can prefer Çiçekli Konak.


Secure and pleasant

Very cute hotel near city center. There are many café are around the area, but still quiet and safe. The breakfast is very tasty, room is clean and I love the taste of decoration of the room and whole area of this hotel. Stuff is very helpful. I am sure I will come back here again :)

Flowers on Antakya

This beautiful hotel is the best I've ever seen. I want to thank the staff, Mrs Selma and Cemre, because they made me feel at home. Everything was perfect exactly as I imagined it and as it was described. I will definitely recommend this boutique hotel and I will visit it more often.

I'm a little late.

First of all, I would like to thank my dear Selma for welcoming us. My friend and I, we felt very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are very comfortable. Really a place to relax. We fell in love with Cicekli Konak. Very highly recommended. We are already planning our next visit. Tekrar herşey için teşekkür ederiz Selma görüşmek Ablamek üzere :)
