We stayed in this family boarding house where the owner welcomed us with his wife and mother with tremendous attention and kindness. We took you to the harbor to park your car and hop on the nice boat that takes you to this small paradise that is not accessible by car. The house looks like a waterfront cottage. The room is simple and clean, there is everything necessary without the excess. Everything is in the care and attention of the guests. A ponton to have a delicious and abundant breakfast. We also had a seafood every night. This is a simple but fresh and good place. So many grilled fish, super-cool salads, delicious fries. Our host took us to a private boat ride under the calving house and enjoyed the beauty of the old seafood, and we took a night out to see the beauty of the seafood, and enjoyed the shade of the old seafood, and the beauty of the old seafood.

Magnificent and authentic

Quaint, rustic and a lovely place to hang out and chill with fabulous views.  You are collected from the main jetty by boat and the owners go out of their way for you.
The room is basic but good and very clean.  The balcony is delightful!

When you've traveled the world, stayed in some 5* hotels and had some amazing experiences, you get to a basic but beautiful place like Sahil and your husband on Night 1 says "This is in my Top 5 places in the world" you know you've found somewhere pretty special.  

Sahil Pansiyon is a magical place. The owner, Yurdakul, and his wife are wonderful, humble people. Their pension sits right on the waters edge and is the only pension where boats can NOT moor up. So you have the beautiful pontoon to yourselves for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

We spent 3 fabulous days here watching the world go by, eating their delicious food and revelling in every moment  (specially those moments where the tourists boats leave at 4pm!). We used their kayaks to explore, swam direct from the deck after breakfast, sat on their sunbeds and totally unwound. 

There are other places to eat in the village but we just loved their cooking and were happy to give them all our custom. We were lucky to have 3 fabulous weeks in Turkey but this is the one place we cried when we left. 3 days were not enough and we will DEFINITELY be back. 

The bedrooms are basic but totally what you want, complete with air conditioning and free wifi. Ask for one of the bedrooms at the front looking directly out to sea if you can.

ONE OF THE LOVELIEST EXPERIENCES OF OUR LIVES

We were walking the Lycian Way and had already spend 2 days in Ucagiz (having collapsed into the first pension we found not knowing about Simena) and thought we should visit the castle before continuing the walk. 

Once we got down into the village we knew we had to stay! The setting of Sahil’s is magical. Right on the water with only three rooms and a private jetty with tables ready for dinner and breakky. We were only going to stay one night but in the end decided on three because it was so perfect.

The food is excellent (although prices in the town are higher because everything comes by boat) and the family who runs it are wonderful and friendly. 

They have kayaks for free use and sea turtles come and visit the turquoise water regularly!

We stayed in early November and the weather was perfect and we ver virtually the only guests in town. 

Paradise found!

3 lovely nights in this small pension (3 rooms) : absolutely lovely people, great home cooked food, perfect location. The room is nice with AC, the balcony is great with an awesome view on the bay (you can spot turtles swimming in front of the pension from your balcony !) and you can't have a better place for breakfast, lunch and dinner than the small jetty in front of the pension. Pick up from Kaleücagiz by boat by the pension's owner is very pleasant and easy to organise. Snorkel gear and kayaks available for free at the pension. The definitely + of this pension : day trip boats don't moore at the jetty unlike other adjacent pensions. And from 5 pm to 10.30 am Kekova is an absolute quiet paradise. There is a nice quiet cove for swim 15 mn walking from the pension

I came to this place only for a lunch, so I cannot comment about the pension. But regarding the restaurant, despite the amazing view that you have when you are sitting close to the sea, the service was very bad. The owner is not welcoming at all, the price are very expensive regarding the quality of the food and the owner is not helpful at all to inform the customers about what is the menu and what are the available dishes.
You just have the feeling that this kind of person is sure that he will have customers because of the amazing landscape surrounding the restaurant but I will definitely never recommend this address.

Nice place but terrible service

What an amazing place, beautiful setting, perfect, spacious rooms, lovely family, I absolutely adored my stay here, would love to return one day. Exceptional attention to detail, perfection, I didn't want to leave. Thank you so much xxx

Wow, wow , wow

Well this place is significant.Bread comes with a boat to the island every morning. Food is delicious is home cooked.There is a sunken ancient city at its shores. It's a ultimate getaway from mass tourism. Service is great, friendly.

Thats an experience

This small three-room boarding house, feet in the water, in a village that is not accessible by car, is a small paradise! Dinner and breakfast taken on the small pier right across the street are magical. Perfectly welcomed by the owner of the place, who came to pick us up and dropped us off at the end of the small guest stay in Kaleuçagiz. The only gem of the room for 4 people is the bathroom that includes toilets and a shower - we put them everywhere and the water doesn't flow well. A little spartiate and not very convenient but not very important to the view of the landscaping that awaits you... And then finally in agreement with the small but so charming village that belongs to this boarding house...

A little paradise

A small boarding house overlooking the sea!It is practically on the water!In fact, breakfast, lunch and dinner are held on the small bridge of the hotel, from which you can dive into the water to swim with your face facing towards the sea.
