We stayed in Butterfly valley two nights. The nature and scenery is amazingly beautiful. The whole concept of the area is great - sort of secluded comune type of place. I would however like to point out that comparing the property prices with other properties in Selcuk, Kas and other nice places - it is quite pricey for what they are offering. We stayed in a wooden hut which is very very basic.Inside the house it is extremely hot, so you can not really rest there. The food that is included in the price is the same every day and it is vegetarian, so you need to go for dinner to a place nearby where they offer meat and fish as well. The toilets and showers are very basic as well, and can sometimes (toward the evening time) get quite dirty and without toilet paper. What is the most disturbing are the boats that come into the valley around 10 am and stay there until 13.00 - with a huge number of tourists, loud music and they simply destroy the scenery and its quiet setting. Otherwise the concept of the valley is great, the hosts are amazingly kind and helpful, the evenings with live music are out of this world original and you just feel you are in a different world. There s even a small bookstore - a guy selling books (also English ones).It sort of feels like that Leonardo Dicaprio from the movie The beach will show up around the corner - this is sort of the vibe of the place. I would recommend it for sure, just be prepared for some very basic accommodation and eating.

Butterfly valley

I stayed here in a bungalow with my girlfriend for 3 nights. Bungalows are extremely hot during the day. Do not even think of staying in the bunglalow during the day. But you dont need to be in the bunglaow anyway. Everything here is really slow, relaxed and beautiful. You only the the bungalow just the sleep in. Waterfall is only 20 minutes walking distance. Beach is amazing especially when the boat tours are not present. Food was beyond my expectations. You get breakfast and dinner here. Especially  dinner delicious and I really mean it.  People are really nice and helpful. Rock bar rocks! Music was great in general. Food and people at fish house was also fantastic. Prices are affordable. The only way to get here is to take the shuttle boats. 30 tl return ticket. It’s a pebble beach. Toilets were pretty clean. If u like nature I m sure you like it here.

Great if you like nature! 

The campsite is convenient for relaxation and rest. Only accessible by sea, the campsite offers a spartiate yet clean comfort. In a half-board, the quality/price ratio defies all competition: for a 'Turkish' breakfast and a dinner with fresh local products and food, not to mention the rental of the tent, you have to count... 20 euros per person per day!

Cutting off the world for a moment of relaxation

Reading other peoples reviews I can see the problem. Don't just visit for an hour on one of those boat tours, thats rubbish. If you want to see this place properly you have to either camp or stay in one of the cabins, its well worth it.

Its very cheap and you get breakfast and lunch included, there is also 3 different bars located in the valley, these are little pricey for the area, however this can be expected sue to the logistics of the valley.

There is a great atmosphere here, and some really good people.

I unfortunately had too much to drink here and ended up being sick on the boat back to Oludeniz, so that kind of ruined the rest of my stay here.

İt's been fantastic our trip in butterfly walley ! Loved this place it's paradise ... Happy to seen  this place  I definely recommend it to everyone. There are a lot of option to stay  tent,bungalov,beach  we stayed on the roof of bungalov house it was amazing night watched the stars listend the sounds of the ocean kisses under the milion stars what else could you want  😊 I will definetly come back again

A night in paradise with my quen

Disappointed by the place: mass tourism has turned this beautiful valley (at least its beach) into a kind of noisy holiday club (rock-side disco that broadcasts techno much of the night... + tourist boats on the channel, which approach in the afternoon with speakers...) and dirty: at night, the beach is littered with cans and other bottles. This pollution is really sad because the setting is very beautiful. We slept in rudimentary bungalows. One night is enough, because of the noise and dirty toilets, without running water...

A gorgeous but fake hippie place, ruined by noise and dirt

We have been in this place with my family. We enjoyed the time. Hundreds of butterflies different colors. Was beautiful. It is very warm inside be prepared. We took may pictures. Takes one hour to see everything. They have a nice and small sopping center inside. Little expensive.
