Fabulous apartments, normally stay in Marmaris but was lovely for a quiet holiday, I booked direct while adding on to a family holiday. Neve was so helpful via Facebook messages, and I was booked into a studio apartment, but when I got there I was moved into a fab apartment instead as a surprise, right by the pool side, was perfect for the little niece, and the small pool! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. As someone who helps manage a hotel in Scotland, was perfect for me.

Another fabulous holiday at the wonderful moonlight apartments. The apartments and the surrounding areas are lovely and spotlessly clean. The pools are fabulous and there is never a shortage of sun beds. The whole atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing and just what you need for a lovely holiday. Nev, Bobby, Reggie and Eddie  go above and beyond to make sure that all your requirements are met. They are wonderful, hardworking hosts who treat their guests as family - this is why so many guests return.We normally eat out at somewhere different every night during our stay but this year we stayed and ate at the apartments mostly as the new chef is excellent and the food and drink much nicer than some of the surrounding restaurants and far cheaper. Thank you all for another wonderful stay - we can’t wait to come back !! ❤️

Wonderful moonlight ❤️

Well, where do I start.....
We arrived at night and got there about 2am. We were then confronted by a man who was unshaven sitting there, and took my passport and handed my key to another employee and said 'You, go with him' and didnt get a chance to ask any questions like wifi password etc.
I didnt even get to say anything to my family as I was ushered away.
I have since realised that a male on his own, because I think as my surname was different to the rest of my family, they thought I was alone. They treat women differently, especially bobby and other male members. I was travelling with my mum in law, sister in law and my neice(12) and nephew (10).
The first few days I began to notice the touchy feely way they are with the females. No matter the age, some might call this friendliness, but not to a 12 year old girl. Hands on rubbing shoulders, staring at them. Trying to be to familiar with girls and my sister in law.
Plus the wifi was atrocious, I do believe that the wifi was switched off intermittently. I know this because when wifi is switched off and your phone or tablet tries to reconnect it vanishes from the list of available networks. The only one that stays on in the moonlightbarplus. Which is the management side of the wifi.
We could get all of our family into the Moonlight so another four family members had to stay across the road at the sun village(Thankfully).
We started to do alternate days, one at moonlight and then one at sun village. At first everything was okay, when we were spending money at the Moonlight. But by Wednesday it had changed, Bobby had become less friendly with us, and seemed moody when spoken to.
But there was no entertainment on at all, wait I forgot there was Bingo on which never happened while we were there.
So when you are on holiday with children, you need entertainment!! My mother in law even said this to bobby. Which was not received well.
We were treated a bit different after that. On our last day we wanted to book the three rooms for late departure which was 6pm. My mother in law got one, My sister in law got one. I was told via my mother in law that my room was needed as someone was checking in soon.
So I needed to be out of my room by noon, I went for breakfast at the crepe bar not to far from there. When I was leaving I was asked by the manager, Have you moved your stuff out of room? It was 10am I said no not yet as going for breakfast.
So my sister in law, myself and the kids went for breakfast. we were not away that long. When i got back I went to finish packing and move my cases, to find that they had already been in the room changed all the bedding the one set of towels etc and my stuff was on the sofa.
I decided it was to much hassle as I suffer really badly from anxiety and nerve condition. So I went and took my case to my mum in laws room. When I went up to my sister in laws room(who had late check out at 6pm). They had been in there too, removed the fan which she paid £15 for for the week.
But had only had it four days, they had removed all plugs from walls, even removing ipad chargers and phone chargers etc.
on the terms and conditions of any rental agreement etc, that is your room until said checkout time. No one should enter univited, unless its an emergency.

So even after all of that, we decided we would have one last meal at the hotel. As we wouldnt really get a chance in the airport as you need to own a small island to afford a bottle of water in there.
So at 6pm late check out time we all went to the bar and asked Bobby if we could have a meal. Only to be told we dont know when the chef is going to arrive.
So we ended up going across to sun village to have a meal.
When we came back the atmosphere was not very nice, I ended up standing on the street away from them all. When the manager came to help and say goodbye to one the hotels regulars, and even bobby came running down to say goodbye.

We didnt get a goodbye or a thank you for your custom, apart from bobby taking one more oportunity to grab my mother in law.
I am not bothered about the goodbye, its the way the service is provided.
If you stay there 24/7 and spend all of your money with them, then they love you. But, if you dare go out or eat out then the atmosphere changes.
They do have a base clientele there, which is the older generation.
But a word of advice, that clientele will eventually stop coming. Plus the way you treat people especially the women, you are not going to replenish that clientele.
On a side note, my room was needed stright away as people were booking in. On the time we left at 7.20pm that room still stood empty. How do I know this because behing the bar you can see the room board and keys etc. The room was still empty.....

First time. Last time

Another outstanding stay at Moonlight Apartments. Nev and the team deliver exceptional service and nothing is too much trouble. The meals we ate there were outstanding and they made a special effort to celebrate my daughters birthday. Everyone is friendly and enables a highly relaxing holiday in a great resort. Highly recommend Moonlight Apratments and Icmeler in general. Hope to visit again soon.

we stayed here for 10 nights we had the 2 bed apartment, lovely and spacious, only down fall theres no air con in the lounge bit so does get hot in there but not a big issue as we had it in the 2 bedrooms and worked well, bobby and reg are lovely and work really hard they cannot do enough for you, always friendly and polite, bobby helped us book a few trips while we was there, no issues getting sunbeds we always managed to get some everyday, pools good and has a slide my kids loved it, would defiantly come back to moonlight again :) 

Lovely stay at moonlight

I stayed at the Moonlight apartments for 2 weeks at the end of June the apartments themselves are spot on, However they are completely let down by poor customer service from the staff working there. We were challenged on the first morning about our balcony light having been on all night and asked were we paying for the electricity. We had not been aware that the balcony light had been on as we hadn't been on it. We also had our towels removed from our sunbeds by hotel staff when we had only gone out for breakfast. The manager quoted that the hotel literature stated that if sunbeds were left for more than 2 hours towels will be removed. This was not stated in the literature and a letter was then produced to all guests enforcing the rule. Staff and manager overly hostile and only happy if you are in the clique and stay there a lot. This is the second time I have stayed here and will unfortunately be the last. Having complained to Jet2 regarding our treatment the owner Neve has stated that a bank card was placed in the electric socket to override the system while were were there, as someone who has travelled to Turkey many times I can confirm that this was not the case

Fantastic accommodation and very friendly staff who become more family than staff ,it's owned by Nev beautiful woman ,and Bobby the manager totally dedicated to bringing you that holiday feeling,  bar staff Reg and Eddy spot on .
Rooms well kept and clean , pool area contains a slide in the big pool but also has a smaller pool .
Overall you won't get a better experience than the moonlight 

Friendly atmosphere 

I thought long and hard about posting this review as these people I thought were true friends not just a business. However after this year this is not the case.

I had booked private with Nev Eren owner, to stay at moonlight apartments in June which meant we had so source our own flights as we can not book package from the airport where we live

On looking into the cost it was clear with the cost of living this would be a struggle to afford so I messaged Nev in December to inform her that sadly we would have to cancel. I got a very hostile reply see screenshot. I wouldn’t have minded but I have given her 6 months notice. My last reply was sorry and I was then blocked from social media.

I had in fact found a package holdiday for 2 weeks for 2 people for £700 including flights and accommodation so it was a no brainer to book.

My parents were booked to stay at moonlight already at the same time. When we arrived our apartment was not far from the moonlight and as before we have stayed elsewhere and always called in to say hello to Nev Bobbie and Reg. 

This time Nev was sat in her office in the evening after we had all been out.
I walked past with the parents to go sit on there balcony for a bit. I said hi to Nev she just ignored me and gave evil looks.  When we left she said nothing and just gave me and my partner the filthiest of looks.

We have been staying at moonlight for over 10 years and we felt this was very underserved to be treated like this. Her rooms were fully booked so she hasn’t lost business like she said she had turned people away. 

The final straw was my parents weren’t feeling well so we’re going to stay at the pool as normally we all go to the beach in the day time. I asked my parents to ask Nev if we could go use the pool as long as we pay for drinks. This is never normally an issue I have been there before and a group of other guests came from other hotel for the day and there was never an issue. 

Nev wasn’t there Bobby was so my dad asked him if we could use the pool we wanted to ask as Nev had been funny towards us. he said me have no problem but you have to speak to Nev as she wasn’t there we didn’t bother.

We continued to go meet on the balcony in evening before going out and Nev.  was around but never spoke at all. The other staff members weren’t there usual chatty selfs either Reg and Bobbie normally so friendly but I expect they had been told to not speak to us.

The only person who actually said hello was the dad he is always so polite and always takes the time to speak.

I find it completely childish behaviour and just goes to show no one is moonlighters or moonlight family your just more custom and money for her business.

We had friends staying here also who felt uncomfortable and had to leave the complex to come see us they also made there feelings clear to the bar staff and they were well aware of the fact we were being treated badly by Nev

Never again will I recommend or stay at moonlight.  after the experiences this year I know my parents feel the same and won’t be returning.

It’s a great shame but is not the same place anymore.

Another excellent relaxing holiday. All staff very attentive. Bobby, Reg & Eddie were great barmen, and they make you feel really welcome at all times. Nev the manager is always on site dealing with the day to day running of the apartments, and she is very approachable if you have any issues or you need any information during your stay.  The chef is very good too, We had quite a few meals on site from the varied menu, the food was of a very high standard, we have no complaints at all. and the prices are very reasonable. 
The cleaners are real grafters and the rooms are kept clean to a high standard.
I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday.

Another excellent stay at The Moonlight.

Lovely chilled holiday, all the staff ( Nev, Bobbi, Reg)  are so friendly and always make the effort to say hello and have a chat, rooms are nice and clean balcony’s overlooking the pools. 2 pools and a children’s pool. Air-con no charge and £15 a week for safe our second time visiting and would definitely go back. Local shop and restaurants round the corner and 15min walk to the central bit of Icmeler bar’s restaurants and shops. Thank-you for a brilliant holiday :) x
