A very nice hotel. Breakfast was delicious and room service was very quick. Vedat at the front desk was a great help as well as Nalan, who made sure my room was spotless. I will hopefully be back again on vacation and hope to stay here again. I could not give a better recommendation.

Flawless Experience

The location is very good, next to Cevahir AVM metro station, 10 minutes away from Taksim Karaköy Eminönü hotel staff, friendly and cleanly dressed, Mr. Fatih standing at the door, is attentive and attentive. Istanbul is a beautiful city, everyone says to go in the summer months, but I think autumn is the best season to go and see.

Nice hotel but the room to be a very small four-star hotel the reception staff very attentive, the breakfast served regularly little variety.

Passable without mas

I stayed here for 3 nights at beginning of June..   I was having some dental treatment and so I was booked in by the dental company . The hotel was well located in the centre of sisli with lots of cafes and a big shopping mall within touching distance!
I had to ask at reception a few times for housekeeping to empty my bin but they were good at replenishing my water each day which was great!!
My experience at breakfast time wasn’t great being an English woman on my own was very out of the norm for this hotel  and most of the ppl staying were Turkish so there was no issue with language!! My first morning I was pretty much ignored.. I didn’t like what was on the buffet menu  so I ventured out elsewhere to eat as felt like I wasn’t made to feel welcome. By the second morning tho I was determined to get something and as I’d had dental work I was in pain and sore and could only eat soft foods.. I used google translate to ask for a plain omelette and a cappuccino which worked.. it’s quite intimidating coming to a different country as it is without feeling ignored so that was a bit of a downside… I’ll be visiting again in October to finish my treatment but I’ll be bringing a companion this time - hopefully my experience will be better

Nice hotel, convenient location!!

I visited Avantgarde room 1310 for 10 days. I was recommended this hotel from my surgeon as it is walking distance to the hospital, clinic and city centre. On arrival the night staff were more than accommodating and friendly. The room itself has all the amenities you need including a fully stocked mini bar. You cannot fault the staff, so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I was in alot of pain over the week and they consistently brought up water and ice to aid me back to a full recovery. Being a young girl staying alone it was reassuring knowing the staff were only a phonecall away ready to help. Id like to personally thank all the reception staff, the bell boy and Guta the cleaning lady for making my trip even better with their professional and friendly service. The hotel has a great food menu if you do not wish to leave your room and also an independent pizza business on site. The staff even helped me organise a trip to a local spa and organised transportation to and from the hotel. Overall 10/10 experience would not wish to stay anywhere else during my recovery. Thank you Avantgarde for a pleasant stay, your staff represent your company so highly, very much recommend.

This hotel was supplied by the dentist as part of my dental package, it is a standard 4 star hotel.

On arriving around 1am I was greeted by the night manager, he seemed a little odd and abrupt, not  very welcoming, he was more interested in demanding a deposit of £100 for the room, I was supprised it was so much, its normally around £60 at a 5star hotel!  he wanted it in cash, his words were ' I need £100 of your English money'  I paid him the cash and told him I will not be using his mini bar or wrecking the room!!!

I was then approached by a bell boy who first went to take my luggage then changed his mind so I took it myself, he did not say much to me just showed me into the room etc .

The first thing I noticed was just one coat hanger! I was there 7 days! I would have thought they would have planned that better, good job I bought my own!

I noticed the bed linen and towels were not of a good quality and they had a strange smell to them, it was like everything was washed in stagnant water.
It was like Hostal quality

The staff were a little unwelcoming but the cleaning lady was great always smiling.

The room was very clean and dead quiet, maybe because the view was of the cemetery across the road!!

The breakfast was nothing to write home about  and not to my taste  so I went on a few occasions elsewhere.

The Radisson Blu hotel just down the road was like night and day, the staff were absolutely brilliant , showed me around the restaurants, I had some nice meals there I wish I had known I would have upgraded to there.

Just across the road is a shopping mall, I went there most days for my lunch, its was good had plenty of choice.

All in all the hotel is ok for a solo traveler,  its clean,  free water and coffee.

I think they could improve on the welcome and maybe retrain that night manager to be a little more pleasant.

Great location, close to the mall, and metro station. Hotel is clean and well presented, the staff are polite and willing to help with all your requests. Breakfast is the only thing that could do with improvement but there’s a great cafe next door which is fantastic

Nice place to stay

I booked in for 4 days for a hair transplant surgery. 2 days included in a package by the clinic, and 2 days extra I paid separately as I want to spend few days in Istanbul. 
The first time I arrived in my room as I open the door a strong waste smell come from the bathroom (from the drain), and it got worst the next morning when I had shower I found out that the water also smells waste. 
Second day, the cleaner opened the window in my room probably because of the smell, and didn’t close it back. The window is in the corner at the back of a shelve with minibar fridge and safe deposit box on it- in other words is not fully accessible. The room feels warmer and I had a look if the window is open but because the shape of the window plus it’s not fully accessible- I missed it. 
The third day, the day when I had the surgery the aircon didn’t work at all for the whole day. 
I just kept quiet and try to be a nice, understandable guest as I had been working in hotels around the world in front office department for over 20 years.

Upon check out the receptionist told me that I had to pay 710 lira because I made a big mess on the sheets. I asked him to speak with the clinic as they are coming to pick me up. Reason is because I know this male receptionist is trying to ripped me off, I did check the sheets and I did left some blood stain but not many especially unremoveable as I can even wash the blood off my shirt just by using a hot water. 
Because I didn’t wanna get late and miss my flight I gave 720 lira to the clinic agents and told them just to pay the hotel eventhough I know the hotel is charging me for something I didn’t do.

To make the story short, the receptionist send the clinic agent photos of the sheets and when the agent show me the photos I was so mad- they all aren’t mine the blood in photos looks like a female menstrual blood and it was al over the bed. I can’t even move around as I had to sleep straight on a 45’ position to avoid the new hair transplant moved how can my blood went all over the bed. 
And my blood boils even more when I ask the clinic agent where is the change as I gave them 720 lira instead of 710 lira, and the clinic agent told me the receptionist told them  I had to pay 725 lira as there is 15 lira charges from rooms service. I was so angry because I never touch anything from room service and why he didn’t tell me but told the clinic. 
Also I left 200 lira as a tip for the cleaner but instead the cleaner reported a lie about me to the reception. 720 lira means nothing to me and I wish the cleaner and the receptionist will get the karma from what they have done to me.
I checked out from room 1101 on sunday 18 september 2022, and I’m a client from Ilyas Arslan clinic.

AVOID! Hotel staffs STEAL, room SMELLS

Me and my family stayed in the hotel for 6 nights we took one superior room and other deluxe room. The rooms are too small, the design of the toilet is dramatically uncomfortable. it is not separated from the room. Also, if someone is sleeping will get bother with noises. You can also her the drainage from other rooms too.
The Ac is controlled by the hotel worker themselves!!! It's is not enough to operate it in the room you won't be able to sleep because of the hot weather. Reception should be contacted to turn in the Ac!!!!!
Last day of our stay, we asked the reception to help us with our luggage without asking for check-out. They interest our rooms and emptied them from the rest of our personal belongs and threw our food away and when I talked to the reception the guy was so unrespectful and delayed that we didn't ask for check out! 

That was our bad experience with this hotel. I don't recommend anyone to stay in it.

Not recommended for families.

Location: convenient enough, especially if you came to Istanbul for shopping and among all the shopping centers you chose Jevahir! From the hotel to the shopping center, it takes about 10 minutes to walk! From the IST airport, it takes about 50 minutes. From the SAW airport, it takes about 1 hour. Population: fast enough Reception: the staff are friendly, but very slowly filling everything,  system constantly depends, our eviction took about 15 minutes:) When booking sent a request that was not taken into account at all!
