Very cozy authentic atmospheric hotel. Located near the city center - 14 minutes away. The most exquisite view from the balcony to the city and Ayasoluq castle.

A city and a hotel with a special atmosphere

DO NOT STAY! Run away. This is the worst property we have ever stayed at in our entire lives. The owner has a bad attitude and thinks of his property as a 5 star hotel. My issues with the hotel during our stay was way too many; but i will try to do my best to list the ones that instantly come to mind.

1) Initial check in experience. I knew from the get go that the owner had attitude issues. I asked him if he can message us or call us if the room is available before 2pm and he insisted that 2pm check in means 2 pm. 

2) pick up from meeting point. The first attempt at pickup was a fail. After calling him 3 times and multiple messages and waiting 20 minutes with no response, we decided to walk in the afternoon. They did give us rides two other times. 

3) Almost non functional wifi. Has many wifi networks, but none of them work. When i asked them, they kept saying it is working. But , both myself and my wife had way too many issues with the wifi, that we used roaming data. 

4) Bed sheet was dirty. We could see black stains on the bed sheet; looks like they did not even bother changing the bed sheet. 

5) Algae and mold in the hot tub. Despite cleaning the hot tub multiple times, it was extremely gross to use; so we did not use. 

6) Difficult door to operate. Had to call the owner at 10pm. 

7) Unsafe environment around the hotel. Did not feel safe walking around even during day time. 

7) swimming pool repair making it non usable.  

8) AC broken.
9) No elevator


Stay away from this property; not worth the $

Amazing hosts and all the little details were taken care of for us. The pool is refreshing. The breakfast is outside on a welcoming verandah overlooking Selcuk and St. John basilica. Short drive to Ephesus. Best views in the city. I would stay here again and will recommend this to my friends.

Above and beyond 5 star service awaits at Villa Dreams Selcuk. Ojay  provided outstanding assistance with travel planning, restaurants, tours and logistics for our return. Room is clean with enough space and spectacular sea, castle, Basilica view from the balcony. Generous breakfast is fresh and includes eggs prepared the way you wish.  The many little containers of deliciousness won’t be forgotten, they were so flavorful: jams, yogurt, sun dried tomato/pepper paste, olives, After small sized showers in Greece, this one was welcome.  Waited to post review until we returned and the postcard sent from Villa Dreams beat us home!

Villa Dreams was everything we hoped for and more. Okyay and all of the team are lovely people: helpful, kind and attentive. We booked the room with the hot tub and the most incredible views over Selcuk. Watching the sun set behind the castle each evening was unforgettable.
Starting the day with breakfast on the terrace and the best views in Selcuk was amazing. It was equally lovely to be able to relax by the pool with a cold drink after a long, hot day of sightseeing. Everything was perfect. I would recommend a stay here if you're visiting Ephesus.

Dream holiday

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Dreams. Our room was beautiful and the balcony large. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Okyay and Melikshah were so helpful and lovely to chat to every day. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the pool fantastic. Never a problem getting a sunlounger. It is at the top of the hill but there is a shuttle bus service should you require it. Selcuk itself if a lovely place to visit. Lots to see and do in the area including Ephesus, Virgin Mary House, St John Church and Sirence. If you rent a car there is even more to explore such as nearby beaches and towns. I would highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay again if I am ever back in the area.

Aptly named ... dream stay!! 

Nice structure. Nice staff who always greet you with a smile and give you the information you need to spend the days in serenity. Clean and spacious room with a nice view. The pool is well maintained, as well as the rest of the structure. WI_FI works properly. The staff knows English. You need the car to get to the hotel being a little far from the center. My family and I have been very well.

Great Structure and Kind Staff

Home and convenience at the top. Superb view of the city. Bar at moderate prices for the pool and common terrace, no restaurant but delivery service, Turkish restaurant (pide, etc... or burger) very good, cheap and punctual. Offer to shop in the city if you need anything (as it is at height access is a bit difficult by car, but nothing impossible). Small pool but does the job, no worries. Perfectly clean room with perfectly functional equipment. The top.

We stayed for a week at Villa Dreams and were really glad we took that time instead of rushing through the area in a night or two! There are some lovely hilltop villages and historical sights in the area to visit apart from Ephesus and Okyay the owner gave us some great recommendations on where to see. We found him so helpful and a really nice person, as were all his staff. We found the hotel very relaxing as there are just a few rooms and there's a really personal touch to everything. We were happy to be in a real neighbourhood instead of feeling detached in a large hotel. 
It was also great to be able to have takeaways on the terrace in the evening in the most beautiful surroundings! 
Breakfast is lovely, fresh and homemade. 
The pool area is beautiful and the view from the terrace and balconies is stunning, especially at night. We'll remember it for a long time!
We'd love to go back sometime.
