Sogut

Had an afternoon at the restaurant and their pontoon sunlougers whilst in Sogut for the day.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, but a little forgetful. We ordered three drinks, two arrived. The third did make an appearance about an hour later.
When we went to eat I was surprised that they have no menu at all. The staff showed us a cabinet full of lovely fresh seafood and meat, but gave no real idea of how it would be served. They also seemed to make up the prices as they went along. It did leave me suspicious as to whether we would be ripped off had we not asked for the prices up front.
With all this in mind the food was nice, and obviously freshly cooked. I had the octopus which was lovely, but came with nothing, just well cooked octopus in a bowl. A shame that they don't run it a little more professionally as this could be a five star review with a few tweeks 

Not the best managed restaurant I've visited.. 

We have just spent a week in Sogut on Turkey’s Bozburun Peninsula. Whilst there, we dined at a number of the restaurants, but enjoyed Yakamoz so much that we visited three times. The setting was idyllic, the food delicious and the Yakamoz family of cats adorable. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service impeccable. Ali was very welcoming and always went out of his way to make our visits special. Our favourite meal was shared starters of Hummus, Calamari and Garlic King Prawns, followed by whatever fish was recommended for mains. Our vegetarian daughter was treated to a steaming plate of Spaghetti Napoli. We very much look forward to returning to Sogut and Yakamoz!

Gorgeous Food, Service, Setting & Ambiance

Had the £10 meal deal got starter of soup a Turkish meze the steak in the picture and fruit desert. Best steak I've had in ages. Lovely piece of meat well cooked and service was great. Clean open air dining area and you can see in the kitchen. Staff were great and constantly checking we were ok. Worth a visit.
