Sempre Arcadia is a lovely, welcoming place to stay with really friendly staff. It is relatively close to the city centre-around a 15 minute (quite scenic) walk- which makes it a bargain! There is also a tesco and other shops really near by which is handy! We found the room cosy and spacious, with comfortable beds and nice views over the river! Esthefany was a lovely host and was super attentive! Will definitely return in the future!

Brilliant

Really excellent, we missed the reservation we had made in another hostel and Estephany received us by improvisation without any problem.The place is impeccable, clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms, large and well equipped kitchen.Really highly recommended, very good atmosphere, the location is comfortable, easy to get to the center by car and on foot is a very pleasant 20-minute walk.

Not bas

Advertising is misleading. It's not a hotel, it's a supposed guesthouse. There's no sign of the entrance, not even illuminated. Rooms with derribo furniture. Shared bathrooms are unclean. Views. A patio of grass or a deserted residential street. The keys on a table. We didn't see the owners, neither at the entrance nor exit. The breakfast was advertised that it was served... but no one showed up. The hotel's name was in a pen on a folio in a window.

Psimo is the name of the game.

Arrival at an undisclosed location. By cartel. A folio written with a bullet inscribed with the name of the establishment. The furniture seems to have been taken advantage of a breakdown. Depressing, deplorable. No one at the reception. An abandoned key in the front desk (thanks to any occupant who wants to stay for free. Yards with dry weed that could burn if not for the humidity. There is no light to help you reach the door except through the vehicle headlights. To finish no one came to serve us breakfast. There are no bathrooms in the rooms. A total disaster. One does not need to score zero.

Cutre Cutre

The rooms are very spacious, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is good, but a little small, very clean, the room has a bathroom and is very nice, despite being on the top floor and having to climb stairs.

It's a very welcoming place.

I was part of a group of 4 people who stayed overnight. The rooms were very clean, warm large and comfortable. Esthefany, our host, was extremely helpful and friendly and made us a lovely breakfast. She even popped out to the shops to get us some rowies, a local baked delicacy. We had a great stay.

Great hospitality!

The lady owner was very friendly and welcoming.  Large, warm and very clean room.  Freshly cooked tasty breakfast.  Enough shared shower/toilet facilities, also very clean.
The house was in a quiet area, regular buses or a 40 min walk into Aberdeen centre.

Overnight stay

At first glance the place does not look attractive - no sign, no info, not a living soul within the premises. Might scare you off a bit, especially on a typically foggy Aberdeen evening.

But on the inside it was ok, the room was very comfortable too. It's located about a 25min walk from the city centre (Union Street) with a few buses possible to take from one of surroundings streets.

Breakfast was also ok, though it's a pity it's a fixed weekly menu without a possibility of any changes or extra preorders. But the lady preparing it is a very lovely person :)

All in all, I would like to rate it 3.5, but there is no such option, as it was all ok. Not bad and not great. One must remember that it's a cheaper option so I guess that is what one should expect for that money.
If you are not a peckish person, you'll be satisfied with your stay.
