We booked accessible room which was at the end of long corridor through two heavy doors. My husband has difficulty walking so we asked for different room but told they were full.  Room was dark with small double bed. This was we guessed to accommodate a wheelchair. However it made for very uncomfortable sleeping.  We hardly had a good nights sleep. We were there three nights.  
I asked for the number for customer services to complain.    I have sent several emails informing them of our disappointment but have had little help.  Was informed we should have asked for another room. We had but were told it was full. 

What has happened to guaranteed nights sleep?    We are still waiting for reply to email sent in December. 

Terrible service.

Accessible room a joke. Avoid

Overall we had a really good stay here. We had booked two rooms separately. One room was on the ground floor originally, but as soon as we walked in we requested a change. Some of the party have stayed in that room before. The heating had been set at 26.5 degrees and there was an awful smell from the bathroom. It was the same last time they stayed.
Having then went to find the second room (and the new one), both upstairs, we found that they were actually significantly bigger than the first room. 
The staff were really helpful and friendly. There is a lovely walk around the lake that you can do.

Avoid room 29

Premier inn was definitely not as advertised on the website. The website shows what you would expect from a premier inn, where as the actually reality is damp, mouldy, dirty rooms. I have stayed in many Premier inns and this one was vile. Water marks all over the walls, an overwhelming smell of damp, not suitable for young children to be in, completely unacceptable. I would class it as being more like a youth hostel! Please do bit be fooled by the false advertising and go elsewhere! 

Damp, dirty and mouldy!!!

The smell of damp in room 28 was so strong I had to move the bed next to the window to allow fresh air in. I did report it to reception and I was told that I would not be moved. I am not from this area and as it was late in the evening I think I would’ve struggled to get a bed for the night hence why I move the bed to the window. unfortunately on this occasion, terrible room, terrible night sleep. I can’t speak for any other rooms but this one is not fit for purpose.
Ps hope they get this sorted quickly then no one else will be extremely disappointed. 

Very strong smell of damp / mildew

The Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble gave short list of lights and things to adjust and when I came back in evening all small issues were put right. Obviously have a good maintenance fitter on site.

Nice quite location

Hotel was lovely, great location, lovely clean comfortable rooms, welcoming helpful staff in both the premier inn and Beefeater. Free car parking was great, Disabled parking too. Breakfasts were great. Highly recommend! 

A most enjoyable stay

On going to reception was told 3MINS to go or will be charged £10, !!!!, a person that went round reception said about the children outside who were enjoying themselves, i said " we have all been young at one time " she then engaged in telling everyone at reception and the staff about a person that made their children dress in white, saying if the children fell over she would beat them, " i said  " maybe the person was suffering some mental illness," 
WHY was a member of staff spreading gossip and negativity to guests this could be classed as slander, this person should be reprimanded of her conduct, the date was 10/09/23 @ 3 mins before checkin time , ......... mrs s bulmer 
The bar area was filthy, the coffee machine area, was thick dirt, should be reported to health and hygiene, the tables were left with food on plates and glasses on all tables for over 1 hour, before cleaning, tables sticky menus sticky, COVID is still about did the bar and restaurant managers know? All staff and managers were awhere of the filth but just looked at it and walked away, we use premier very often, we will never use this one again

Judgemental staff gossip

Well we did read the reviews first before booking a.d we had a lovely experience the staff greeted us late evening Check in the rooms we're clean and fresh and the beds were lovely Exactly what we needed after a long day the shower was powerful a.d the fans in the rooms were quiet amd effective as it was 23*C in the room  plenty of parking and lovely lake to walk around next to the Inn  The breakfast in the Beffeater was wonderful and £10 eat all you want amd the staff there were happy to help 

Premier inn Priory Marina Stay September 2023

The third time I have used this hotel, and all stays have been consistently great. 

All staff without exception were very helpful at all hours of the day.
I felt welcomed and valued.

The only improvement point required would perhaps be that the bathrooms need updating

Consistently Excellent

Booked this hotel for a family break, then read the reviews that didnt rate it very highly!  Who are these people?  Hotel is in a fabulous setting, the staff are polite and very helpful, the room was clean and beds comfortable. Room was accessed using an old fashioned key which was great as electronic cards are always useless! Weather was very warm and there is no air conditioning, which I detest, but we were provided with a fan which kept the temperature comfortable.
Only minor gripe was lack of sockets for charging phones etc.
I look forward to returning.
