Dunstan House is a very smart pub with guest rooms above. It was warm and homely with friendly, helpful staff. The cooked breakfast was delicious, with cereal, pastries and fresh juice also available. I didn't have dinner but was impressed by the menu and had a desert which I enjoyed. There was only a single room left which was comfortable but I moved the bed as it was right up against the wall. I caught a glimpse of a double room which looked to be a good size, so I would definitely book if available. There were snacks in the room along with tea and coffee. There were nice toiletries in the bathroom. I really liked the decor throughout the building. 

An enjoyable stay and delicious breakfast! 

Stayed for 2 nights in room 1 which is the family room. It was a really great size room. Sofa, coffee table, spare fold up bed, with en-suite bathroom which was a really good size too. Very clean, bed was comfy. Food was really great, had the full English in morning and a evening meal. Had a really relaxing enjoyable stay. 12 min walk to the sea front. 
My only negative was a bright green light that was above the door. This disturbed my sleep on 1st night. Spoke to a member of staff who said a few others have complained and they are hoping head office will listen and so something. 2nd night hubby put some masking tape over it. Really great night's sleep. Can't fault anything apart from the green laser beam at night. 

Lovely staff and relaxing stay

What a lovely room, felt like a home away from home. I will definitely be staying again next time I come, brilliant stay 🩷 I had the single room and couldn’t have asked for better! Cant wait to come again to try out the bigger rooms, my other family members stayed in those rooms and I was very jealous! Always there for next time! 

Home from home 💕

We held my father's wake for 25 people in the Inn's private room.  From start to finish, it was a pleasure dealing with the staff and any worries about whether this was the right venue were removed.  The chef provided a delicious buffet, plenty of food and catered for our two vegans which was expertly handled.  Leanne made a special effort to set up the room for us and she did an expert job.  We can't thank you enough for everything you did for us.

The pub is a little gem it’s welcoming the staff were lovely helpful and respectful the food was great and a good price the room was cosy and warm absolutely recommend the Dunstan and will be returning myself 

Holiday

Loved our stay here. Warm welcome, rooms comfortable, well designed and incredibly clean. Great night’s sleep; quiet, comfortable mattress and pillows, good blackout curtains. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again as I regularly visit the area.

Fabulous pub. The outside area is perfect for children and the food is well priced.... Perfect for a wedding reception. Recommended pub by far.... The staff are lovely and very helpful. 10 mins from the beach cannot say anything to improve on

Break

We booked a table here recently for lunch for 4. The first thing I noticed was that this place needs money spent getting it back into order. Plaster which had come away from the walls was covered up by pictures and signs placed in front of it. The food we ordered was quickly served by a very helpful and friendly waitress. However, the food itself was not all that good. The fish sandwich was oily and soggy, possibly my wrong choice. I tend to also judge an establishment by the state of their toilets, forme this is as important as the dining area. Again very low standard loo's dirty with door fastenings missing.  The staff and bar are very good with a great selection of beers and wines. Only let downs are the above points.

both my wife and i had a great evening meal here great friendly staff found the prices a little high but the quality of food and drink was very good and the service with the food was just about right  yes i would go back, very good for parking
