Bushmills

Lovely place with a lovely couple running it. New owners and doing much to make the place great which it was. Our room was clean, quiet, and well appointed. There were other guests but it felt like we had the place to ourselves.  Hard to say what was the best part; the hospitality of the owners, their dog who is sometimes around to greet guests, the amazing full breakfast in the morning, the cozy room, the proximity to Bushmills distillery. We stayed because of this last reason, we did a premium tour at Bushmills and knew we needed to be able to walk to and from the distillery. It was perfect!

Wonderful welcoming stay

Just down the street from the Bushmills Distillery and close to the Giant's Causeway, we enjoyed two nights at Finn MacCool's Inn. Our room was small but immaculate and had an en suite bathroom in a very quiet part of the building. We enjoyed the pub downstairs, where the neighborhood mingled with guests. Tracy, our wonderful hostess, invited us to bring takeout fish and chips back to the pub for dinner. And we had a lively time watching soccer with the locals and other guests. She gave us great tips on local sites and a wonderful breakfast both days!

Finn MacCool's is Cool!

Stopped the night here whilst visiting friends who where over from Australia. Friendly little pub with nice range of beers. Home from home experience. Lovely landlady and waiting on staff and a nice welcoming. 

A nice stop over

Rooms over the pub are comfortable and well equipped with a modern bathroom en suite.  Our group enjoyed chatting to the owner in the bar until late.  A hot breakfast is cooked to order and was perfect, as well as being able to cope with the gluten free requirements of one of our party.  It is right on the main street of Bushmills and parking is available at the back of the property .  This is a great location as a base to tour the sights of the Antrim coast.

Great location and comfortable

Clean and reasonable for a night. Small pub with friendly family running everything. Plenty of parking in the back. Easy walk to places to eat in Bushmills and you could probably walk to the distillery if you wanted. Breakfast is the typical Irish breakfast and was presentable.

Good for a night

Stayed here 5th Jan 2023 for one night,it a cold wet day  when we arrived but the place was cosy and warm. Tracey,who was a lovely lady,showed us to our room which was spotless with rustic white washed wall which I loved.Our room was overlooking the main road but we enjoyed a peaceful night.Theres parking to the rear for guests and we noticed a lovely covered area for smokers which would be a lovely spot for a drink in nicer weather. Rooms are small but comfortable with a lovely shower room, no tea making facilities but complimentary tea or coffee at bar.Bar is small with a friendly atmosphere, again this was spotless and well kept. Staff are friendly, and helpful. Breakfast is ordered the night before and was plentiful and we both enjoyed.We would definitely stay again if in Bushmills again...

Overnight stay

Interesting! The room was tiny and, apart from mould round the window, due to horrendous consensation, the room was fairly clean. Pub was very ordinary and breakfast mediocre. But it was cheap and, therefore, probably not bad value for money. Well located id touring the Antrim coast and OK for a one night stay after landing off the ferry at Larne.

OK for what it is

We stayed here for a night in Mid September. Our room was nice and very clean. went for a drink downstairs , got to chat with the owner a little , a very nice man and very helpful. breakfast was very good .

It was so fun to stay at this Guest Inn in the center of Bushmills. We went into the pub to get our key. The place is upstairs, but we did not hear any noise in our room. The room had stone walls that had been whitewashed and I loved the rustic feel. Breakfast is served starting at 8:00, you could choose from a traditional full Irish or continental. We were able to walk around town and was a short drive to Giant's Causeway.

Great location and friendly hosts

A historic place situated in the centre of Bushmills.  

There is plenty of parking for guests in the private car park behind the pub. 

I had a single room which was very bright having a large window enabling a good view of a church and countryside beyond.   The room was spotless as was the shower and loo.  

Tea and coffee is complimentary and available at the bar downstairs as there are no facilities in the room.   I enjoyed a couple of good brews during my visit.   

Breakfast is ordered the previous night and whilst not a gourmet experience, the cooked options involved decent sized portions.  A choice of cereals was also available.
